@jainamshah007 I'm so serious though. I love the house and they explained a lot. They talked about the structure of the roof because of the grass there, but not why it was there. Is it to replace the grass that would be on the ground where the foundation is (as an environmental thing)? I'm really curious because I'm sure there has gotta be some really cool reason for it otherwise they wouldn't have wasted the effort involved.

@Bmilesonline The grass is there to lower temperatures. Next time you get a chance walk on a roof no matter what color and see how hot it is. Then walk on the grass. Add this to the natural insulation of the thicker soil material.

No, quartz is not a form of diamond. Diamond is carbon which is completely different on the molecular level from quartz which is silica.
