@DoomShroomer Yeah you do, you actually spend more of the game working for the underground or gun shop owners than you do actually working for the factions.

Don't let that dissuade you though, things like this is what makes the game great - the fact that you can't just blast through everything as quickly as possible, you need to take everything into consideration.

Mutliplayer is better now actually. Or so I hear...Supposedly there is a mode where you can kill in a few shots. I'm not sure though. I like the game a lot. It's a bit boring at one point (when you don't know what to do) but I really like it. Only one MAJOR flaw. You have to save your game twice (at least) so you can play again after you beat it.

This game could of been great had it not been for those godawful checkpoints they put on all the roads - which makes getting around and completing missions take 10 times as long. You really have to wonder what the game designers were thinking when they put checkpoints into this game. Do they hate the players this much? Is wanting to complete a mission without making endless trek after endless trek through the wilderness really too much to ask??

No, it's not. It takes place in 2008. Didn't know the first one was science fiction, haven't played it. And theres plenty of games without science fiction. Max Payne, for example, GTA, Battlefield 1942 (in fact all ww2 games, doesn't take a genious to figure that out but whatever). Well the science fiction genre isn't really my cup of tea (allthough I do like Star Wars).
