baby daisy and baby luigi both are better than funky kong and daisy (i dont like baby daisy) but light characters have a bad speed overall so that why everyone uses him but i dont like him.

the bowser bike isnt even fast. the acceleration sucks the speed is very average and offroad is terrible :(

Characters have no speed difference than the others. It is only the bikes that make difference. Along with size of character. Small medium or big. Small floats more, medium is sort of a float then rocket down hard, and big is stay low and go faster.

you do know that  there are some simple tricks to do this

1. hug the inside corner as much as possible

2.(If on bike) whellie at every possible opportunity

3.use mushrooms in correct spaces

If you do this you wiil find that your time will greatly improve

actually the vehicles make up the bulk of the stats, but chracters have tiny bonuses of there own thats why people use funky/boser bike because the tiny boost of speed funky has makes a bit of difference in time trials

btw if u think that the stats for luigi and mario on mch bike are the same u must be blind or dont look close enough

@scottwolfe92 People choose Funky Kong and Daisy because each character also have small stat changes, if you didn't know. Funky Kong and Daisy increase speed and acceleration in their weight groups while like Wario changes offroad stats.
