why does this song have less than 200k views ???....Chris Ledoux Was a great Artist and Poet. i live by his stories and songs . ...and on a another note...why is that crackhead Whitney Houston being treated like an icon when Chris is all but forgotten ?
This may sound crazy but this song has helped my daughters with thier horse back riding. They always tend to slouch in the saddle till i had them listen to this song and now when they ride it plays in thier heads and they fix thier seats. lol seems funny but thanks chris for helping my girls become better riders. We miss you.
man chris ledux was and still is the best cowboy ever my idol i love this song i am oly 14 but i try my best to be like him and my dad how could u dislike a song with the best edvise in the world i love horses and anything assoiated with it and man it is a shame he had to die when he did...............'ITS ALL IN THE SADDLE, KEEP EYES FIXED....................ENJOY THE RIDE
I want to go home!!!! stuck in St Louis...for while but i want to go back out to Wyoming where i belong!!!...thanks Chris for always reminding me of who i am and where i come from..out where everybody knows you and your music...home
Reminds me of my grandpa that gave my first horse back ride. I think it was on Gamen, could have been his buckskin Buck.. I was too young to remember the details. All I know is I can't spend enough time in the saddle
Chris LeDoux was the greatest cowboy that ever lived. Extremely nice guy and in my opinion the greatest country artist ever R.I.P. Chris -Always Remembered-

Played this song for a great horseman who went to join Chris on Sunday night. Chris had sat in Jordy Johnsa living room years ago and played guitar all night. This was Jordy's favorite song of all time. Live like you aint afraid to die!!!!!!
This song reminds me of my brother's bestfriend that died in a saddle bronc accident last summer, he was like a brother to me. But i always remember i will be with him someday again and we will continue where we left off. Miss and Love you, Nicolas Lee Gillett<3
I remeber being a really little girl and I'd lay in the backseat with my doll and my blanket and I'd listen to chris ledoux on the way to some rodeo thousands of miles away as my daddy and chris's voices would lull me to sleep and the hum of the pickup motor and I'd lay there and look at the back of the seat and be as still as i could and think about all the miles i had traveld and of all the rodeos id been to I love you Chris and could you do National finals rodeo plaese?
wyoming cowboy awsome i love you chris i wish you would come back and be with life again :'( us wyoming people stick together and the whole united states loves you: REST IN PEACE CHRIS!!!!
@SpeedbeetleV2 True, and the reason your mom cried is because this song might mean a lot to her. maybe you should sit down and talk to her. cause this is a song that is very meaningful to people.
hey chris this is chad from sparta nc man i really like this song and all the other one that u have made i rodeo a lot and everything and this song means a lot to me and everything man i just wanted to say keep up with what u are doing man and god bless u
i love this song. i used to be scared of riding horses... and this song helped me overcome that fear. what an awesome artist. i love chris and have been listening to his songs since i was in the womb. may he rest in peace.
This song is one of the most meaningful songs in my life, and I am not a "meaningful life altering songs" type of person....
I have a brain tumor (nothing that's going to kill me), but before I knew the severity of it, and the night prior to surgery I had a really nice "potential last night" alone, with my stereo. (I dj, so we;re not talking about a boom box here) this was the last song I played before going to sleep, quite by accident and it was by far one of the coolest moments of my life

This song is awesome. Makes me think of my kids' dad. He passed away in March this year of cancer and left 3 kids behind. He would tell them to keep their head high all the time. He told them that he wasn't afraid to die and that they shouldn't be either. Makes me sad everytime I hear this.
Why is it that you can't find chris ledoux's the ride and not this one the one about him riding with the devil in the car? and how come you cant find the yellow stud they are both great songs by chris ledoux if ya can it would be cool if ya could upload them
My brothers and best friends sat around a campfire drinking beer and telling stories, laughing and crying before I deployed on both Iraq deployments. This song united us. real cowboy right there nice song chris your gone but you will never be forgotten ur in a better place now and some day we will all meet you and im sure some of us cant wait
Hoo. Yeah. I miss that ol' boy. Country music and rodeos just ain't the same without Chris. Kinda lookin' forward to seein' 'im again. I bet ya he'll still be sittin' tall in the saddle, on some huge white stallion, takin' off 'is hat and wavin' it t'all the folks newly arrived in Paradise.
hell no not on a huge white stallion thats jesus on judgment day he is sitting tall one a huge black stallion listen to the song not getting shitty just sayin
Well, reckon you've a point there, tweeder...Any road, he'll be sitting up on some big stallion, waving 'is hat by way of greeting, jus' 'bout guarantee ya that.
I used to be a graphic designer for KEYE-TV in Austin, TX. Chris used to live here. This was the pic I used for the graphics on the news when he passed. I don't snuff, but I did that night.
i didnt know who he was untill about a couple years ago before he died but i dont know whati would do with out chris
country has gone to shit now i dont listen to it any more im only 14 but i still listen to chris and older country cause its actually country todays country aint country its pop/rock the words kinda maby country but not the music

Hoo.

I used to be a graphic designer for KEYE-TV in Austin, TX. Chris used to live here. This was the pic I used for the graphics on the news when he passed. I don't snuff, but I did that night.
