@TheKrackDown look for a parts bike on craigslist or ebay those are pretty much the only options because the bike is almost 30 years old the parts are very hard to find..
I sold it for 700 and found an excellent 2002 XR400R which I am totally in love with. It takes me anywere I want to go. I was riding it up in the mountains at 9000 feet after installing a $5 jet that took me 10 minutes to switch.

Nice find ! You might want to put an oil cooler on it as 86's were known for overheating issues and this will help resolve it.
I love my 03 XR250R
They last forever with minimal care.

It had a factory oil cooler on it, first hear Honda put one on I think.
I loved the XR so much I sold it for 750 and found a really clean 2002 XR400 a guy underpriced at 1100. It is very clean and runs GREAT!
