Who d'ya think you are? Herman the German from Hackerty Wick? It's the random "catchphrases" that crack me up, and the fact he hates Chester Drawers with a vengeance "sorry Arthur".
Dose anyone know if Arthur Atkinson was derived from Arthur Askey? Bloody funny sketch I cant stop laughing at the germans comments at the end Paul Whitehouse TOP MAN.
Does anyone think that germans find this funny,I h0pe they do but doubt whether they can possibly see it the way the English do--its fantastic nonsense--marvelous
I think it is Leni Reifenstahls film 'Triumph of the Will' I had to study it as part of my photography course, as though it's shameless propaganda, even today it is technically brilliant.
This is a wonderful piece of comedy which never fails to make me laugh out loud. Tell us the one about the washboard again!! ; ) PS. Does anyone know where I can view the original Nazi propaganda film used at the end of this sketch?
