I just think it's the lyrics that are not meshing well with the band. It sounds really off. Her voice sounds great and the band is owning it but those lyrics are terrible. I think she needs to get her punk rock on and abandon this symphonic metal because it does not seem to suite her.

You never get a real good idea of the exact flavor of music the American Idol contestants will be putting out. The video didn't do much for me, but I do like the song. It has an Evanescence essence to it (IMO). Good job, Nikki.

The video is about a husband (guy who dies at the end) who cheats on his wife (nikki). The catfight is between Nikki and her husband's mistress. The guy who kills the cheating husband at the end is Nikki's kinsman. That's where clan honor comes into play you jackass. And, as stupid as the song is, it does pertain to the video. I don't like the song, but I do like the video. And I especially love the last fight scene.
