The economist was talking about a time of "recession" where the possibility of the economy bouncing back is probably good. I do not think that applies to our situation right now, because if you read what economists are saying about our financial hardships, they are talking about it getting worse and about a deeper depression! I think that this is not the right time to spend money and borrow money to open a new business because in good financial times they are hard enough to get to profitability.
