The use of old timer equipment has really paid off here. It adds a special gritty and crude atmosphere to the animation that seems to make the end product that much more authentic and real. Very wise decision even if it was a pain in the ass to work with.

Frankly, given the limitations of a college production (which I understand all too well), this was fantastic. I wish I could give you a few million to do it proper in traditional Rankin-Bass style. Standing apart from the subject material, I really miss stop-motion, especially during the holidays. CG is overused to the point of eclipsing traditional animation arts (hand-drawn, claymation, etc.).
