  • is this Fenders? I think I remember this show... Taped on Flipside magazine's VHS

  • epic HQ video !

  • felix's new band is CONDEMNED UNIT. check them out.

  • Kurt's new band is called PASADENA NAPALM DIVISION. Check them out!

  • crossover is so much better than hardcore...........jesus tits

  • D.R.I

  • D.R.I.

  • Fuckinayright!!!!!!!!! I checked out those VSD videos you recommended and thay al kicked ass. Loved the drum intro of " girl troubles" and " Confomity Sucks" was a fast fucking thrasher.

  • Who doesn't just love DRI? They were one of the original "crossover" bands. For another cool crossover band with a serious metal edge, check out VSD from Baltimore. They have 5 songs recorded live in 1987 on youtube. VSD- Kill Your Kids, Mental breakdown, Conformity Sucks, Girl Troubles, and Phantasmagoria. All good heavy music.

  • slayer covered it pretty bad ass :)

  • it's to bad that these guys lost there edge after crossover '' they were a grate punk band ! sad when you'r songs go from being pissed off like stipid war and mad man to ''suite and tie guy'' and dround you out, kinda silly.....

  • I agee wholeheartedly

  • I disagree man, I prefer Crossover Thrash to Hardcore Punk although I'm not really a big fan of DRI.

  • Crossover Thrash is merely an evolution of Hardcore Punk anyway.

    D.R.I. are great.

  • Their shows were mayhem!! Yeah!

  • kool spike with blonde hair

  • DRI kicks ass.

  • no se oye :(

  • badass band!

  • Guess who has the record and a t-shirt.

Our Moslems and Anti-Aborts, among others, believe in violent de-pacification: "We'll kill you because you deserve it."

  • Origin? xD

  • well u see, they were some of the pioneers for death metal

  • death metal?? you mean thrash.

  • NO, it's on the Violent Pacification single from DRI. I found an original one for 75 EURO 2 months ago. You can but it on a german side called "lost and found".

  • As powerful and influential as Pantera, Sabbath, Pistols, Bad Brains, Slayer, Origin

  • Pantera is for cops.

  • @nondor13 maybe...for their funerals XD

  • @Heresnothing1 my point is that this band shown above is chaotic hellacious polemical anti-art that cops don't like (in other words REAL PUNK) whereas PANTERA and other regular guy sports-fan-type pseudo metal is actually conformist and porbably listened to at police academys.

  • @nondor13 yes, I understand. but it's wrong, I've been jerked by the police on different occasions for listening loudly in my car : spermbirds, pantera, exploited, even the mellow shelter's attaining the supreme etc. so when you mention pantera to the cop, only thing he's gonna think about is something with large sharp teeth he saw in the zoo ;) just one more thing: conforming to punk is still conforming! bands are either great or not, and great ones like DRI and pantera are influential. cheers

  • @Heresnothing1

    fair enough.

tho PANTERA are influential I trhink this DRI vid exemplifies how mediocre they were. that band HELL YEAH for example. But whatevs. Thsi vid rules. Punk is iconoclasm and nihilistik kommunism.

  • @nondor13 I'm really allergic to isms, and more than majority of punks are.check out some DRI mtv videos, you'll see more make-up than in any pantera's, acid rain is maybe best example, while in pantera's 5 mins alone there are shadows of filming crew on the wall, they just didn't give a f.. while having nothing in common, pantera,DRI have that something special, which hellyeah just don't, they're just pantera wannabes without any talent. check lyrics fakin hostile for that cop thing... :)

  • @Heresnothing1 well put.

  • pantera isnt influential, metallica is

  • @19andrew80 agreed on all of the above but I would say PANTERA don't rate that list.

  • AMAZING!

    FUCKING POWERFUL!

  • KILL YOU BEFORE YOU KILL EACH OTHER (because it's the only way to "End The War Zone)."

  • Great Video!

  • It is on D.R.I. - Dirty Rotten Imbeciles. It is the last song of 22 on that great album!! Look up Rotten Records and you'll find it. I hope this helps you.

  • i got into this band in 1986. they played the cameo theater in miami beach. that was my first hardcore show ever. great band.

  • Where was this shot? I saw them at the complex in d.c. on the "dealing with it" tour in 1986.They were fucking brutal.

  • Damn...complete bedlam! I wish I had seen them back then.

  • FORCE YOU TO BE NICE TO EACE OTHER........

    PEACE YA'll

  • dose anyone know were i can get a tab for sad to be by d.r.i

  • goe fi

    gure

  • DRI is my favorite band ever but this vid is so bad I cant even hear the music.

  • yes, this is old bootleg footage from VHS and its not for the casual listener. Its for the hardcore DRI fan.

  • Yeah, they look so young from that time. What year is it?

I got into'em around 2000 when I found a tape with the Suicidal Tendencies, DRI, and several other similar bands that my mom cant remember anymore in her old crap.

But DRI's always been my favorite, and the Suicidal Tendencies.

  • Thanks for posting this!@!!!!!

  • DRI es la mejor banda sapos culiaos chupenla

  • speak english or die!!!

  • gracias por los recuerdos ke haz logrado traer a mi mente...

  • I think that has to be my favorite D.R.I. next to "The Five Year Plan", "Draft Me", and "Busted".

  • VIOLENT PACIFICATION! SIIIIIIIII

  • this dude had the first blast beats. Fo Real

  • nice video !
