Winter snowshore climbing definately looks more enjoyable than summer hiking for climbing those peaks in the Whites. The Whites are way too rocky... a sprained ankle hazard waiting to happen.

Those rocks dont go away in the winter. Above treeline becuase of the winds its often ice and rock.
