@snowmanii All of these races are from a roll. At a roll an AWD car loses all traction advantage and is actually at a disadvantage because it will put less power to the ground. AWD eats up engine power in parasitic losses due to the increased number of rotating mass. In highway rolls a FWD car like the SRT-4 is actually at an advantage as its only real disadvantage in a race is its lack of traction from a stop which doesn't exist in races such as this.

30 psi on stock turbo is easy to get... i ran mine at 30 for a few races in my srt... but dropped it back down to 22...just got to tune the car right and you wont burn shit up. i like the smaller turbo spools mad quick.although the turbo is loud as balls... it screams when it spools. i did get cut off a few times but i fixed that... by the way with 30 psi, and now holding 22.. without BC if you rework the vac lines you can do this.i have 3 diff configs for my vac lines for diff boost settings.

actually thats my old car. i wasnt holding 22 psi i was only holding 17 spiking 19. the last race after i adjusted to 15psi. i found out it was my plugs changed them and it never did it again, and of course it did it on the night we were filming. its cool though that was my friend in the evo we were just srewing around.

umm 22psi on stock turbo let alone stock injectors is dumb enough, that is if your holding 22 which Ive never seen done on a stock turbo, Ive seen ppl spike that, but holding that would definatly burn an exaust valve, thats like an 18:1 a/f Ive seen ppl burn exaust valves holding 20 on stock injectors with a 90% pulse width

If you run more than 17 psi on stock pcm and injectors you will be cut off. you can alwas get a MAP clamp but no since in tricking your computer esp if you cant figure out why you are loosing power. DONT BLOW YOUR MOTOR KID!! my suggestion to all srt 4 owners, leave your stuff stock.. SAVE for an AGP stage 4. TRUST the comaites touch! t-r-u-s-t it fellas! 03 flame red SRT 4. yea .. but the thing is .. he had his boost too high which is WHY he was faster .. he couldnt win without the boost being that high nor could win with it being that high cause of the cut outs ..
i understand but if you run too much boost without supporting fuel mods your going to blow your motor. he needs bigger injectors and if he wants to max out his stock turbo hes going to want a map clamp, i see hes already got a WGA so hes good there. but either way he shouldnt keep running like that, too much boost plus not enough fuel = engine meltdown
Fuel cut off, i think because the wastegate is not properly tuned yet, the pressure gets to high with detonation as a result and the engine control switches to safe/emergency mode.
uh, when I let off my peddle, the fuel to my engine doesnt just completely cut out, and I don't have to restart my car again, which looks like what's happening here. The SRT is sputtering and cutting out. If it was just because he let off the gas, than the answers simple, DON'T LET OFF THE GAS! No?

the boost was set too high thats why it cuts out, we had to turn the boost down for it to not cut out. Which means car is slower.
