thousands of youtube/scratch videos, and qbert in 90'S still shits on them all, him and mix master mike were creating scratch patterns while half these posers were still in diapers
oh of course my cuts don't sound that good I'm not qbert.. but it sound like his are instant like off and on... mine has a quarter inch from off to on, you know and its takes a strong crab to make sound good. I'm practicing
ok I've been learning to sratch for a couple months now on my Xone:22 mixer.. my cuts don't sound that good no matter how fast i move the fader... can someone tell me if qbert has done any mods to his crossfader for an instant cut? Or is that the vestax mixer that is so good?
@Calvinios he scratches right handed. for the crab scratches he would normally have to hold his thumb on the leftmost side of the fader to keep the beat playing on the left, but that would require another right hand (think about it). so he switches the directions of the fader
@Calvinios i was just thinking that.. i think its so he can play around with the volume control with his right hand and still continue to scratch with his left. This way he doesnt have to criss cross hands.
@ErgensUit1987 i can read mate, i said which record is he scratchin with. not which record is he scratching to!! your the one who needs to learn to read you german tosser
The instrumental is from "Little Bad Johnny" by Just-Ice as said before, but it's different than this. I've edited the instrumental to be like the one used here though.

You know, kudos for the skill, it's interesting to see someone that does this, but man, thinking hip hop will unite all seems farfetched to me. There is almost nothin good that is symbolized in the music, and it features people who have nearly no talent. The lyrics are brash and they speak of a load of animalistic bs. You wanna see something invigorating and unifying, listen to jazz. No lyrics, and the ones there are speak of simple love. Clifford brown, wynton Marsalis, Oscar Peterson. People
@BLACKCARGORECORDS I'm mixed, so my culture or cultures I should say, are constantly with me and it can get a be wavering. You put words in my mouth, I never said Hip Hop was not a part of the African American Community, In fact we were not even discussing Hip Hop or music, we were talking about how you feel that people mock your culture when they dress or talk a certain way (By the way I love Public Enemy and Run DMC). I feel that the styles, clothes, sayings from Hip Hop are not mockery.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS Instead they are a sign of people going through phases in their life. Everyone's taste in music broadens over time and the clothes they wear change as well as they mature. When people see someone popular on tv it is natural to want to be like them, no doubt. My cousins for example, came from a bad part of Houston and when they left, they always talked and dressed like their friends from their old neighborhood, and they pale and red headed (even though they are Mexican).
@BLACKCARGORECORDS Is it really because of contact with black culture or just the need to fit in. That's universal, people watch tv and go to school and go on facebook and find out that certain things are a hit with their friends and they don't want to feel like an "F.O.B." and do it out of insecurity and to conform. Plus there are black and white people in both rap and rock so you shouldn't label it as such.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS First of all, Rhetorical questions lead to assumptions that are ridiculous. If you eat Mexican food at an authentic restaurant, no one that is mentally sane would argue against it unless they were picking a fight. Back on subject though. <any individuals of all ethnicities have used Hip hop as a medium to create great music, and while it's founding is rooted in the African American people, it's taken a life of it's own and out creating trends and styles around the world.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS I think I understand your problem now. You feel that when people act in a certain way it creates stereotypes and then they feel like fighting over it. Well hey, those people are morons I say to hell with those people. Enjoy the music you love.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS Yeah I'll agree with you there I like a lot more of the older stuff like A tribe called quest, artists like Common, MF Doom, Asheru, the RZA, Tupac. But you know you're right though. I'll never know what it will be like to be a black man in America, but I do know That Hip Hop unites all cultures and peoples under one sound and in the end people will still be listening to the old and new Hip Hop.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS No I don't think so. It's not what it takes to look you, (whatever that is) it's probably just the want to impress people or to look good. They hang around girls that fall for that kind of stuff . I think your a little paranoid or you believe too much in the "society is trying to look like me" thing. Even if it were true, be happy to be the original.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS Styles are emulated it's not a black thing. A person usually picks up stuff growing up depending on how they were raised. Black got it from where? Other black people. If you live around ignorant people who don't pronounce words right, then more than likely you will have the same problem , although that is not always the case. Don't concern yourself with other people because they act a certain way that is a waste of time my friend.
@BLACKCARGORECORDS Well what you are saying is different, Filipino flags and nationalistic stuff, comes from the Philippines and the Filipinos from there, which would make sense. What you call culture is not tied to a specific country in general other than of course the States. African Americans like everyone else, has gone through a period of time where people wore different things that were cool and said different sayings. What is American culture? That is a better question with no real answer
@jd1060 Society and culture is always in a state in flux, that can't be stopped. In America, cultures mix in many different ways since we have a huge diversity of people. The 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's all experienced different styles and tastes, I don't think it's fair that only a group of people have dibs on who can say what or what they can wear. Millions watch videos were a guy does a dance and then the next morning NFL stars, and everyone is dancing the same popular dance. It's change.
damn! this is fucking sick... like I got the fucking flu... I'm pucking all over the place ... time to take some pills after hearing this shit... Maximum Strength
