SO yeah 2k series fans, I LOVE 2k games, except for NHL, so when you say that you don't trust the critics about the game, and that it's a great game, why they dropped the project for 2012? Because it's absolutely no competition to NHL 12... that's it.
I've been a 2K fan since the days of NHL 2K3, and up until 2K8, but after that my interest dropped with the golem like animations and stiff controls in 2K9, as well as 2K10, but mostly due to the big freezing issues that never got fixed - Ashamed as I am to admit that I hopped on the EA bandwagon with NHL 10 - surely it's a great game, but it has it's own flaws - If only 2K created some sort of mix between NHL 2K8, 2K5 and picked a few ideas from NHL 10 (11 and 12) they'd be the best again..

@PossessedDonutz Things that make gameplay better are more important than goal horns etc. but I think it's something that game designers and other people forget when doing a game. But goal horns are good extra :)

2k10 is fun but i traded it in for wii when i got a ps3 (only had it for like a month, o well) im waiting for nhl 11 though because nhl 10 is probably the worst nhl game ever made for a console if you take out the good graphics. The gameplay is pure garbage.. the modes are good though.
The gameplay is horrible, the after the whistle and board play gets severely overused online, the cpu AI is way too annoying especially when they waste like 3/4 of the powerplay doing like 15 1-touch passes on the powerplay without shooting, the only goals you can score are rebounds, glitch goals or cheese goals and it's boring as fuck.
nhl 10 has much beter graphics and a fun gamepay. but whne it comes to 2k they r the more realistic ai. players play like players of there caliber should. every1 cant do the same moves. some players r much beter then others and u can notice it.

Well, it depends on the player criterions. For example, the most important thing in hockey games for me is realistic gameplay. I don't give a shit to super-cool-NG-graphics. In my option 2k has always been on top, except last year EA was very close, since 2k9 was a disappointment. And NHL2004 was good, thou. I really hate, when people like you just come and troll things like "2ksucks" "this game is shit" even they have never tried the game seriously.
No, you really can't do that deke all time in 2k10. On the contrary, it has been so in NG NHL-games that in EAs NHL every player can dangle like Ovechkin, you just have to shake RT fast enough, and that's all. In 2k you can even see different kind of player types, if you use realistic sliders, of course.

2k10 is fun but i traded it in for wii when i got a ps3 (only had it for like a month, o well) im waiting for nhl 11 though because nhl 10 is probably the worst nhl game ever made for a console if you take out the good graphics. The gameplay is pure garbage.. the modes are good though.

The gameplay is horrible, the after the whistle and board play gets severely overused online, the cpu AI is way too annoying especially when they waste like 3/4 of the powerplay doing like 15 1-touch passes on the powerplay without shooting, the only goals you can score are rebounds, glitch goals or cheese goals and it's boring as fuck.

nhl 10 has much beter graphics and a fun gamepay. but whne it comes to 2k they r the more realistic ai. players play like players of there caliber should. every1 cant do the same moves. some players r much beter then others and u can notice it.

Well, it depends on the player criterions. For example, the most important thing in hockey games for me is realistic gameplay. I don't give a shit to super-cool-NG-graphics. In my option 2k has always been on top, except last year EA was very close, since 2k9 was a disappointment. And NHL2004 was good, thou. I really hate, when people like you just come and troll things like "2ksucks" "this game is shit" even they have never tried the game seriously.

beacuse nhl 10 is more realistic, you can do that deke all the time in the 2k game but it's very hard to do in a real nhl game.

No, you really can't do that deke all time in 2k10. On the contrary, it has been so in NG NHL-games that in EAs NHL every player can dangle like Ovechkin, you just have to shake RT fast enough, and that's all. In 2k you can even see different kind of player types, if you use realistic sliders, of course.
