I am supporter of Arch Rival FCPorto but Rui Costa will be forever one of my Idols in football! The pure talent he had, the class, just seeing how comfortable the ball was in his feet.. One year he won best Calcio player and the same year Zidane was golden ball.. This is why R.Costa is the best nº10 i ve seen.. He os the ANTI HERO.. Never wanted more than he had already! RC10 4EVER!

A class player like Rui Costa does not belong to a team but to football itself. He's the reason why millions love it. I'm a Sporting fan and if he scored against my team i would aplaud because i apreciate his genius as a player and his character as a man. He broke our hearts when he left portuguese national team, but he will be forever our number ten!

Em termos de visão de jogo e de qualidade técnica no passe é dos melhores que alguma vez praticaram este desporto. Basta ver por exemplo akela assistência para o inzaghi ao 1:37, ou a jogada magnífica que originou o golo marcado pelo nuno gomes frente à inglaterra no Euro 2000... é simplesmente de génio.

this video is missing some of his best moves, passes and goals, but it's still very good. Rui Costa is a rare football genius who would have easily ranked up there with the zizous had he had international success. He should not have been so faithful to fiorentina - he ould have gone to a bigger club at a younger age when injury wouldn't affect him like it did at AC milan. But that's how he is - one of the last few footballers with loyalty and integrity. Long live the 'fantasista'!
