now that's what i call a F'ING piano solo!!! it's funny that even as a multi instrumentist, still he has this unique style, like you would know that it's bellamy doing this guitar solo/riff, or this piano solo/riff, this is all that stuff he does with his guitar, like tom morello does, and then he does it also on the piano, sounds messy? yeah, but is it great? HELL YES!! Muse is a very talented band.

I'm not sure that it is Chris.

That Wah-y distorted sound plays at the same time as Chris is playing the semibreves in the verse.

I thought it was Chris at first too, but I'm not sure now.

On the effect front though, I'd hazard a guess at Wah, disortion, an octaver and maybe a flanger, though I'm not too sure about that.

There's probably a lot more to it though.
