I thought that it was a realtime 3d effects and not inside an authoring tool, But your tutorial is really great and i loved it! keep it on man ;-).

Gimp works well on Vista, but I had to disable aero, camtasia kept giving artifacts while on and running gimp.

As for my system:

Althon 64 LE 2.2Ghz

2GB RAM

Nvidia 6150 Builtin Chipset.

Good demonstration of Gimp on Windows. What machine are you running it on, you have GIMP running, with Vista and Camtasia and seems to be performing really well.
