Will technology be our ultimate undoing, or will we be...this question will keep me awake at night now, But I pray that we can coexist with our cold calculative brethren side by side rather than at the ends of an armor piercing bullet or EMP disrupting device.

@Shogunelite , if technology advances to the point of AI, the only people responsible would be the creators, and if those creators are corrupt, it is them that we all as humanity must turn against and blame for pushing the limit a little too far. Also, there are two kinds of sentience: human sentience with the sin-factor, of being capable of being evil. The other kind is wholly without evil inclination. If scientists decide to make AIs able to be evil, they are pushing the limit. I

@Shogunelite it actually sounds progressive and imaginative, which is a good thing. I am sure that many who are inquisitive about life itself would wonder how it is to speak with artificial "life" or "awareness". I am actually curious as to what it is like. The ide a makes me look forward to such technology :)

@MartyredxMaiden If you can remember abit far back when the ps3 came into view, they had the idea to have a game that based the player (you) to be able to interact through the PS Eye and mic with two female agents through a sort of action mystery game. I wonder whatever happened to that one?

@Shogunelite I've never heard of that one, but it does sound like something related to the whole BCI agenda, getting gamers used to interfacing with computers, and I guess preparing them for interactions with AIs. Semms quite interesting, it may not have gotten very popular if it did comeout already.

@MartyredxMaiden OH I found it's name to be Eyedentity, and it's release date has been labeled TBA (to be announced) for as long as it's been shown out there. Give it a look see will you? It's supposed to display a wide range of interaction with the female leads you speak with.

@Shogunelite Cool, I just read a review about the game. It sounds like the gaming company SCEA or something is really on to something. Its very sci-fi, quite innovative and I think that whole tech set-up will start catching on mainstream if the game does well when its released. I wonder what its about? I know the player can become a star, or something to that effect.

@MartyredxMaiden Yes indeed, to be able to socialize with AI in that manner will be quite a feet actually, I just hope that it will come out without cutting corners for it's demand.

@Shogunelite loe the discussion here. check out a real life situation i believe it's called "kermit" or "kismet" Scientific Frontiers , the one hosted by Alan Alda from M.A.S.H. the have an interactive face that school children interacted with like another school kid. the became quite attached to him more so than the human teachers.
