I remember turning up on the sat following the solstice. Still busy. Anarchic punk bands. Hash cakes. A drink called Brain Remover. A hurse driving round the site with a bloke shouting bring out your Dead. Chaotic evening. Drive back to Poole on the sunday. Getting picked up to go and play Gaelic Football in Portsmouth. What a weekend. Miss it

Just thought..I really will block any dirty comments back to me here...does anyone remember a small tent in this fest+outside saie "FREE aural sex",,not the spelling!! natuarally wondering lost+alone in a psychedelic haze..I went into the tent!! on the floor was ,thin k it looked like goat skins? two ppl kneeled motionless.1 hippie+1 shamanic type creature"thing!??"..the hippie was kneeling having dirty things whispered into his ear..hence aural..anyone see it,or dare venture in? nightmares? lol

I was there...just 3 days after my 17th birthday,slept in a yurt with a load of smelly hippies on acid. ( for some odd reason I was always able to get washed at festivals everyday..had my own methods.even my hair. a celebration of true pikeydom. I used to love hawkwind, i think they had some good producers at one time. Having seen them live several times they are truly atrocious. Watching a bloke sh*tting in a cow trough. Glad to see hedgemonkey hiphocracy alive then as it now. W*nkers.
