This is a great song to think what life really means to you, and how Eddie shares his personal feelings of goodness to rest of the world. This is a classical song of emotional feelings!!!

My older brother played a lot of Eddie Cochran records when I grew up in England. I had a great B&W pic of Eddie on his last tour in England, 1960, that sat on the shelf in my bedroom. Even now I recall clearly the headlines that day in the Daily Mirror newspaper announcing his death. Eddie Cochran had an enormous influence on me and still does to this day. Eddie died two days before my 8th birthday.
Sorry people, but you just cannot compare Cochran with Presley.Elvis was and will always be in a class by himself. The rest were great, but Elvis is Elvis.
Your wright we shoud,nt compare Eddie to Elvis.Eddie wrote songs and played guitar with a passion.Elvis was good the sun sessions the best but his management was better
He was 10 times heavier, and played guitar much better.
He died too soon to boast the amount of hits and critical aclaim Presley would later obtain. But Cochran's music, though popular enough in the U.S., was HUGE in the U.K., inspiring many of the artists who lived in that area. His final concerts with Gene Vincent were a smash.
You're wrong. What JamezBaller says is right: he just died too young to become a worldwide legend. He was just 21 when he died and didn't do many songs, still people is listening to him in 2008.... think about that :) Elvis is just as great as Eddie, no doubt, but not better.
ive listend to all sorts of music rockabilly, blues, country etc, grew up with punk love the smiths but eddie had something special RIP eddie you reach all generations.
Elvis was in my opinion a very good rocker, but Eddie created something extra in his music I mean just take "guybo" as an example or "meet mr tweedy", any ways every song he sang became something extra, "sweet little sixteen", jelly bean, I´ll never get tired of listening to his music, hes the best :)
Je ne connaissais pas cette chanson ,je l'aime beaucoup Eddie Chochran aussi , merci :) ( c'est aussi la premiere fois que j'ecrit en Français dans Youtube :) )
