How to Backup/Restore ROM on Rooted Galaxy Nexus!

ThiI was curious how it is that you can back up anything on this phone since it doesn't support an sd card. I guess it doesn't erase everything when you flash a new rom huh?

I haven't rooted or unlocked the bootloader on my phone yet, and have been using google wallet. Will I run into any issues using it after I do those things? Plus I read on cnet that wallet "stores too much encrypted data on rooted devices" I don't know if I should just wait for the update or root. Thanks :D

Does this let me jump from rom to rom with just going through the CWM recovery?

example: if I backed up my stock root rom, and then later installed foxhound (back this one up as well), than again install Villain rom (backed up as well), I can just enter recovery mode and choose any of my backups?

If so, do I need to wipe dalvik cache, wipe factory, and clear data/cache?
