@Meerkat00 you're an idiot. Notice not a lot of birds got away from these guys. They know how to shoot and what they're doing therefore they know when it's ok to shoot and when it is not ok to shoot. When a green head is 25 feet in the air trying to light it IS ok to shoot ha. You're not going to hit your dog that is swimming...the only thing out of the water was his head which was not even close to the spread of his pattern

This is by far the best duck hunting video on YouTube. I admired it so much, I'm only 15 but I've been hunting for 3 years and I love every minute in the duck blind, even when we don't shoot any ducks! I shot my first Greenhead this year also! Hunting way down South Louisiana we don't get a lot of them, and when we do its usually the last weekend of season. Anyways, nice video!

i really can't believe the comments about shooting over the dog? they have probably never been sea duck hunting when you need to double tap a cripple (only a few feet from your pup) before it dives again for good. it's all about bringing every bird back.

nice work! I am 11 and duck hunt all the time. Ive shot a ringneck drake, 2 green-winged teal drakes, a pintail drake and hen, a canvasback hen, a shoveler hen, a couple of tree ducks and thats about it. And.. im going duckin this weekend

yeah dude dont shoot over the dog. treat him like who he is, your hunting partner. if that was a human being. would you shoot at a duck flying over him while he's out getting ducks? i sure hope not. and im not bashing or anything. great vid and i love to duck hunt. just dont shoot at birds when your hunting partners inside your safe zone of fire, if the dog gets in there, it becomes an unsafe zone, just as if it was a human being.

@meerkat00 The biggest problem with shooting over the dog is that the owner is usually right behind you with HIS gun as well.Not the thing to do if you want to ever get invited back to that hunting camp.

@airsoftsupersniper14 You have to use non-Toxic pellets. Which means steel, tungsten, heavy shot, or bismuth. Use shot 4-6 or 2's in steel

i thought this was a great video. I have been duck hunting for five or six years now and have not seen anything as graceful as the end, where you let the ducks work and sit down. it was amazing. To me, that is the best part, watchin um lock up and do there thing. I reccently move to memphis and am only able to hunt public land. Do you have any suggestions? or Do you have room for one more?

travis its better to let a few get on the water that way when u have other flying in u can shoot them and when the others u let earlier in the hunt land on the water try to fly off the water u shoot them .... but yea cuz this is a great spot !!! hate that i cant hunt it lovin the setup!!!
