Fans expect way too much. How is it possible to get actors the size of these characters? Try finding a Japanese person that has the size of Ryu. I think he was fine, but Ken was terrible.

E Honda was perfectly cast, sagat and vega wasnt badly cast either, Chun-Li looked better than the 2009 film. Zangief was well act, balrog was also pretty good, the ppl that was miscast was ryu, ken, dhalsim, blanka, deejay and t.hawk. the plot is still clean cut which is to defeat general bison of shadaloo. u cant say that the movie was shit, it was made in 1994 ffs. i still like watching this movie, u just dont have a taste for old movies. go back to playing the original SF2 then watch again.

The new movie actually looks promising. It looks like it'll be a fighting movie rather than a G.I. Joe ripoff. Though there is a slight problem: the directer is the same guy who did the Doom movie.

This movie is obviously not in the likeing of many Street Fighter fans but is is not that bad. The fighting in some games seems pointless in this movie atleast it has a just cause. I agree that the movie could have been much better but you seem to over exagerate things to being much worst than they are. Roaming around fighting for no reason is stupidity. One must fight for a cause. Be it Freedom, Honor, HomeLand, Father/MotherLand, to protect Family, Religion, way of life or even just your life.

I love Street fighter,got almost all anime movies and games.I cant wait for Street fighter IV to play it...BUT I remember that this is in my opinion the worst movie ever made,a slap in fans face. I was SOOO disappointed and angry. Van Damme as Guile and Raul Julia as Bison...you had to be a drunken,drugged monkey w mental retardation to like this crap or a guy who never played or watched any SF games or movies but looooved Van Damme's films. Super Mario deserves an Oscar compared to this.

This movie had NOTHING to do with the video games except for one thing: Chun-Li's vengeance for her father and yet not even THAT was developed enough the filmakers just abandoned it the moment she finished whooping Bison's ass! Capcom should force the movie producers to place Ryu & Ken as the main cast, & make the new movie faithful to the game. Beside that Co. has the rights anyway.

I think Hollywood cares more of making struggling stars famous than the story. I'm not against those actors but roles should be played by proper actors.

This is by far one of the absolute worst and most embarassing movies ever made! Chun Li was the only character who resembled her video game counterpart, Ken and Ryu looked more like Johnny Cage and Bruce Lee,(CONMEN?? disgraceful!!) Raul Julia as M. Bison WTF!? Van Damme was god awful playing Guile, Charlie/Blanka was pathetic in fact the whole movie was a complete fuck up for that matter!
