Chickens lay eggs regardless of mating. The eggs they sell us aren't fertilized so they would never have hatched so it's not quite the same as eating a baby. However, the chicken did not lay the egg for us,it's not ours to take. Most chickens will eat the eggs themselves to get the nutrients back so it can keep making eggs. <3
i know this is a really old video, but i have to say this, all the talk about god doesnt want you to kill animals and the ten commandments say thou shalt not kill and living old testiment ... the ten commandents are refering to people, not animals... and in the story of moses and the splitting of the red sea, god tells all the hebrews to slauter their best lamb, and put the blood above their door so they angel of death will pass over them during the last plage... killing an animal is not a sin!
Egg is not dairy. Egg is worse than milk as you are preventing life from taking place by preventing fertalisation, so you are basically eating menstrual secretion. Milk on the other hand is not for human consumption, it is meant for the offspring of cows, it contains hormones specifically for their growth. Humans are the only species to drink milk past childhood, and to drink the milk of another animal.
