Yeah, this particular "ghost" show is a blatant crock of (insert explative). Most of the psychic stuff is utter nonsense believed only by those who want it to be true. Even most of the "scientific" investigations that use instruments that were never designed for ghost hunting can be debunked with good science. This "most Haunted" charade is among the more agregious and absurdly amusing fakes, but it's all claptrap.
Yvette is so obviously pushing it. Her hands are flat to the table and the cloth is rumpling from the force of her hand. Plus it practically stopped when she stopped for a second and stood up. I completely agree with @Dungarth That is exactly what happened. I only ever watched the live shows and absolutely loved them, but things like this caused its demise.

I honestly believe Yvette/Karl started the show with good & honest intentions but as the ratings grew and the budget grew so did their need to produce their own ''phenomena'' and in the end it was this that caused its untimely demise.

Its always hard for me to understand why people find it impressing that a table moves when like 5 people have their hands on it. It would be impressing if it moved without anyone touching it.
I think just like renowned skeptic Chris French says once people want to believe something then they will buy even the weakest of evidence that backs up that desired belief, Chris as a skeptic was allowed on the 'Haunted Homes' show but there were no skeptics like him allowed on this 'Most Haunted' one which I thought was rather dubious, this is why I was never keen on this one with Derek and Yvette and frankly they are just not very convincing.

there is a logical explanation for everything. one of the guys was casually pleasuring himself with his free hand beneath the table and in the natural course of things the table just happened to levitate off the floor. in short, in the crotch area of his trousers there was an enlargement which moved the table.
