Your doing every thing wrong 1 you don't wear open toed shoes 2 any time you use one of the main brushes (not mane or tail) your supposed to flick your wrist 3 that is not how you brush a tail

Don't take this the wrong way at all. I kno you don't like me. But that wasn't a good groom. You missed bits & used the wrong brushes. You CAN use hard brushes on legs. The only place not to use hard brushes is the face, & i think you mean dandy brushes. I groom horses everysingle day for my job at a riding school & they're groomed far better than yours. & you're supposed to pick out the feet & do the mane & tail first. Not last. Otherwise the dirt from the mane goes onto the bits you've 'done'.

Fair enough her horse is clean, but if i done a video on how to groom, even if the horse was spotless, i'd really show how to groom a horse. I'd put my back into it & not leave a single spot, coz at the end of the day, you're trying to make it educational. If anything, this just shows how she grooms. Not how people should groom.

@TrailsEndDayz It's all good. :) I brush the exact same way you do, and a lot of the time, not even that well! We have SO many horses to get through, we mostly just use a metal curry and a hard brush. We can do whatever with our personal horses, but even then I just use the metal curry and hard brush on him. :p

As long as they are trail ready, I really don't care. And she was just going out to ride, so she really didn't care either. @ponymad5678 How so? The only things I saw were personal preference.. for example I don't regularly curry my horse's face and would never with a different type of curry but with that type it's fine. And I prefer to do the legs while I'm doing the body (go completely front to back). And some people don't always brush the mane/tail so as to keep it full as possible.. her footwear isn't totally appropriate but hey, once again, personal preference really.

Just a tip to help your horses fungus on his legs (my horse has it too ), is to use a separate curry comb and curry all over his legs, then of course use his leg brush. Then you want to wash it with a medicated or fungus shampoo a couple times a week. And make sure you clean his leg brushes often. Hope this helped!

I have that currie comb!!! That is not good ground to have a horse on... You didn’t curry comb his legs!!! Its not too hard to use on the face and the legs!!! (your on the hard brush now) be more gentle with his face!
