I love how they incorporated the super metroid into this game. To me this is SM 3D style with a twist. Hope they make 1 for the Wii. I'm glad that I keep all of my old consoles and games. I have every Nintendo nes snes 64 GC and Wii.

I thing that all nintendo games are great, maybe some games like mario or kirby looks like games for children, but for me gameplay is more important than graphics.

Otherwise I think that games looks pretty good, we should remember that Nintendo is Japan company and create games looks like anime :D

this makes me wanna play metroid prime triology--metroid prime on wii is fuckin awesome. the funny thing is that i got the third prime game first, Metroid P 3 Corruption, then MP2 Echoes, THEN MP triology, therby Metroid Prime. playing on Hard/Hypermode on all three prime games is also fun.

Aiming and dodging isn't even a priority, metroid isn't an FPS where you're going to die and retry areas over and over again. It's a lot more about mobility and exploration.

I say! Prime and Prime 2 Echoes are my favorites visually. I'm not a big fan of Prime 3 Corruption's bloom lighting, although I love its cinematics. Retro Studios should develop or co develop the next Zelda game (should Nintendo decide to make it realistic :-P

@MrSkateking95 the difference betwenn halo and metroid are the difficult level's aswell as the armour EI: hp bar vs regen sheild? another difference is that metroid has alot more story line then halo, another difference is the upgrades which isnt in halo such as ball mode, other weapons, combo's etc etc. all-in-all metroid has alot more to offer then halo with its 'follow this path' plot like any normal FPS game. no offence to halo players but its just the truth. i know the truth hurts.

This is only theory but, I think after Samsu kills him in Metroid Zero Mission / Original, the Space Pirates take him and give him a metal casing. Samus finds him again and defeats him again which causes a self destruct sequence. Space Pirates then evacuate him from Zebes. They then engineer him as the cyborg organism we know as Meta Ridley. Obviously Samus defeats but not kill him at the Artifact Temple. The Space Pirates then evacuate him from the planet and repair his armor for MP3

After defeating Meta Ridley on Norion, he falls into the generator , the Space Pirate engineer him with a more tougher armor and high levels of phazon. After Samus defeats this form, i think there was enough phazon to mutate him enough to regenerate his body completely. After defeating him in Super Metroid, the Space Pirates freeze his remains so that they can engineer him after they evacuate him from Zebes. The Galactic Federation find his frozen body and take it for research at the BSL.

When Samus discovers his body on the BSL, the X Parasites mimic his DNA and his body shatters. Ridley X is killed and Samus destroys the station before the Galactic Federation get there and the planet SR388. But as the X Parasite absorbed the memories and characteristics of their prey. The X Space Pirates could have evacuated him to engineer him or clone him to make a normal Ridley. This could lead to a Metroid Fusion 2 perhaps?

@madison789 : There's more variety in this game than Halo, since Halo you pretty much run and gun everything in sight. Metroid Prime may be essentially a run-and-gun FPS, there's more puzzle-solving and interactivity.

Metroid boss battles are always epic.

I remember the first time I played this, that 'oh shit' feeling when the escape timer comes on still gives me a thrill. I balls'd up on my first time at the grappling part and made it out with 3 seconds on the clock. Awesome feeling.
