I was at my RSS on thursday doing pt. And we had to run up this ski hill do 30 push ups at the top run back down to ammo can lifts and run back up twice. While we were running up there, this commericial went through my head when my legs were telling me to stop but i kept going when i heard in my head "they've stormed beaches" and i charged that hill as much as i could and made it without stopping. I was at my RSS on thursday doing pt. And we had to run up this ski hill do 30 push ups at the top run back down to ammo can lifts and run back up twice. While we were running up there, this commericial went through my head when my legs were telling me to stop but i kept going when i heard in my head "they've stormed beaches" and i charged that hill as much as i could and made it without stopping. When someone who isn't a Marine uses the phrase lightly, it can be offensive. Semper Fidelis isn't a word, it's a way of life that is burned into the heart and soul of a Marine.
