FILIPINOS WILL NEVER LEARN TO WORK SIDE BY SIDE WITH ONE ANOTHER BECAUSE EVERY FILIPINO WORKS FOR THEMSELVES!! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS HOW MUCH NICER THEIR HOUSES LOOK THAN THEIR NEIGHBOURS! IF NOT THAT HOW TO MAKE THEIR HOUSES BETTER THAN THEIR NEIGHBOURS!
THEY CANNOT ONLY BLAME POLITICS BECAUSE THEY ALSO HAVE THEMSELVES TO BLAME!
Have you ever seen the news in the late 1990's about a family who committed suicide because the father cannot find work and support his family?
I guess not, because the news had run only once and was not given enough attention. It left a strong image for me. It made me look in the mirror and reassess how am I after 20 years of working in the Philippines.
Maybe DavidDeUno you're still young and have the luxury to use this "slave" word- a pretty strong word for a very young man.
@Keizi3 i am and still will be Filipino. so that makes 1 Filipino who still wants to be one. peace. My country is very rich but poorly managed. someday we'll get it right. but we must learn to turn our eyes on God first, until then we'll suffer your insults and the contempt of the rest of the world. But someday we will realize our mistakes and will start to really love our country as we should.
We, Filipino Nurses, are dealing lives and not a piece of computer keyboard or chips or a simple delivery of pizza. I have nothing against those profession, I am just stating my opinion that when you have errors of delivering a pizza to a wrong recepient you can easily change it or refund it but with wrong medications life is at stake. No need to point out about a clean white uniform and dollar accounts, we,ve worked for it with blood, sweat and tears.... we EARNED it.
DICTIONARY DESCREPTION: a person entirely under the domination of some influence or person; a person who is the property of and wholly subject to another; a bond servant; One who is abjectly subservient to a specified person or influence; who works extremely hard under control by; or is a property of and wholly subject to another person, component or influence.
And yes it is the Governments fault because there are not enough projects to provide opportunities for the people, no priority projects to improve the standard of living, no budget prioritization that will provide education to those who cannot afford it, no implemenation of workers rights on fair treatments, no population control, no business laws for fair treatment, rights and compensations commensurate to needs of workers.
As long as volunteering is allowed, employers will never hire. As long as temporary workers are allowed, then employers will never hire permanent workers. So the workers LEAVE to find permanent means of living. And so the Philippines will never be as prosperous as other competetive Asian countries. No projections of how many lifetimes it will take to realize a developed country. Only God knows if it will ever become a developed conuntry.
there's a saying that it's not your fault if you are born poor but it is your fault if you die poor, why always blame it on the government, anyway point taken, and I have my opinion and you have yours which I also respect, have a great day, peace
@jpvsomar021781 While the educated politicians will only take care of themselves and own properties abroad so that when everything is messed up, they just pack up and leave. That is how it works in the Philippines. All those politicians have properties in California and Swiss bank accounts and children studying in Europe. Then they rule the Philippines for a little while, then leave when they have corrupted their fill.
wow let me guess .. your girl left you and 3 days later you found out she's going out with another guy and on top of that you also found out that you have cancer.. and so decided to make this piece of shit of a video well if that's the case .. good job douche
yup.. enslaved by Dollars. slavery means the state of being under the control of the other. they are too overwhelmed by the dollars that they no longer see the poor conditions of our very own hospitals.
Nagsalita ang walang alam. Do you even understand the word slave? This is how you percieve our nurses abroad? Moron, being a nurse is on of the greatest proffession aspired to by filipinos, its one of the highest paying and emotionally fulfulling jobs out there so a lot of filipinos study nursing. For you to compare it to slavery, youre RETARDED.
Your Mom nursed you when you were born right? ahh maybe your were pick up in the garbage!! WHAT AN IDIOT! Would you rather be a prostitute?? asshole!!
Slaves? Are you kidding me? What alternatives do you then propose? Nurses back in the Philippines get less than poverty level from the hospitals which are able to prey on them because of the numerous nurses unable to find jobs. The government has been ineffective, just as it's always been, in righting this form of slavery back home. It is not those in the US who are slaves but the ones stuck in Philippine hospitals, underpaid(or even unpaid) and made to suffer by our healthcare system.

This pretty much applies to Filipino Nurses.
