God, I just watched the DVD version of this episode, and they FUCKING REMOVED THE EPIC SOUNDTRACK THAT PLAYS AT 2:35! They replaced it with one of the bland travel themes... completely unfitting. I was horrified...

I'm a bit of a Dragon Age fan. When the wizard sounded the horn, I though "Shit, the High Dragon's gonna try and pwn me. Dragon Scale armor, here I come!"
It also means that you'll be stuck at Level 8 for a lot longer. Way to go, Hank. :-P
Also, that Net of Healing would have raped those skeletons with Positive Energy damage, and Sheila should have killed Venger so she could Alignment-shift into Evil, multiclass into Assassin and show Hank how whoop-ass is REALLY done. >:)
That entire battle with the skeletons would have been MUCH easier if Hank and the gang had immediately looted the entire graveyard as soon as they arrived, like any other party of adventurers would.
Plus, Eric would finally have a weapon to go with that shield; that Trident of Lightning would be a nice pick. And Sheila...man, can you imagine the Backstab/Sneak Attack damage she'd lay down with a Sword of Sharpness to go with her Cloak of Invisibility? Goddamn, the kids messed up here.

Everyone notice that Dungeon Master said to Venger "Rise my son". Its because he is the Dungeon Master's son. I read the script for the last episod that was never drawn and arried for the show... the kids end up saving Venger and turning him back into a good guy and they have the option of going home or staying and facing new dangers and other evils to fight and the show ends with them making a choice we never see on screen.
Okay name those other wepaons of power and the D&D Class that it corrisponds too... Hmm lets see a Paladian's Holy sword and the horn? Is that a bard's weapon? What about the healing net... is that some kind of priestly thing? And the ball in chain... what class is that? And the wand like thing and the Trident of Lighting... hmmm anyone know?

Presto's power is equal to his determination... the orbs he conjured up rendered Venger powerless and immobilised. I think it's a fact often overlooked, but this episode showed how badly they really wanted this to be over, unlike previous episodes where they basically just got lucky a lot of times.
In reality, the frikkin unicorn died, the kid smashed his club in the Venger head till he dropped dead, they went to the real world, and now the kid is one of Americas most wanted Criminal..... Mass Murdering Criminal that is.....

Have you seen the last 2 dungeons and dragon's movies that have been made? My god I hate to think of how bad of a movie they would make out of this, maybe they could talk marvel into doing it for them though.
This is my favorite episode and the soundtrack has a lot to do with making this battle seem so intense. It's a real shame they had to change it for the DVD set.
Tiamat had one of the coolest voices of all cartoon characters in history :). Also, when a dragon dies, with its last power it forms a weapon. The magic weapons are Dragon's remains, and all the dragons are children of Tiamat. Thats why she guards them. Dungeon Master stole as many weapons as he could while Tiamat was away (presumably fighting venger). Venger summoned the dragons and enslaved them in the Realm, which is why Tiamat hates him (she is to be controlled by Venger).
Yeah that crazy Tiamat voice reminds me of the voice of Amaunator in the Forgotten Temple inhabited by the Diseased Ones in Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn.

man did i love this cartoon. I always wanted a energy bow and arrow :) i dont think i ever saw the last episode or if they got to go home????loved uni. man D&D and silverhawks,thundercats,tigersharks,dino riders,mask and jayce and the wheel warriors rocked hardcore better than anything nowadays

You won't find Barbarians, Cavaliers or Acrobats in the D&D players handbook but you will find them in The D&D Unearthed Arcana handbook.

There was knowledge that Venger was once a pupil of Dungeon Master. Whether the term "son" was meant literally or as a metaphor is anyone's guess.

This is my favorite episode and the soundtrack has a lot to do with making this battle seem so intense. It's a real shame they had to change it for the DVD set.

Tiamat had one of the coolest voices of all cartoon characters in history :). Also, when a dragon dies, with its last power it forms a weapon. The magic weapons are Dragon's remains, and all the dragons are children of Tiamat. Thats why she guards them. Dungeon Master stole as many weapons as he could while Tiamat was away (presumably fighting venger). Venger summoned the dragons and enslaved them in the Realm, which is why Tiamat hates him (she is to be controlled by Venger).

Yeah that crazy Tiamat voice reminds me of the voice of Amaunator in the Forgotten Temple inhabited by the Diseased Ones in Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn.
