@92redrevolver care to explain just how to go about 'ripping off' an observation? four chord songs exist and are popular, any attempted medley is going to contain songs from the axis version, I don't see you deriding them for a song that is in itself a collection of songs that aren't theirs either.
@92RedRevolver: I actually had not heard of that until AFTER I made this medley, haha (and I felt like an idiot when I found out about it). After about 4 years of playing guitar and playing a lot of popular music, I noticed a pattern. I like to make medleys and mashups, so I did. If you look around on youtube you'll see a lot of 4-chord medleys just like this one, and I don't think most people are trying to rip anyone else off. Sorry if it comes across like that!
Another one you could have done is Hey Soul Sister by Train. The chords actually go in that exact order, C G Am F. Also, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. But you have a great range anyway, so you're awesome! :)
gosh you look way too much like my family *laugh* perhaps *shrug* lost cousin when I saw you I thought "mom" *shaking head* "aunt Mary" as well as your vioce you look more like them than I do *laughing*
haha I wish I could explain!! I'm a self-taught ukulele player...and have only been playing for about 2 months so I'm not quite sure. Sorry! I guess I would suggest playing along with the video and figuring it out slowly - that's kind of how I learned.
@ripproarinlauren it's 4/4 strumming pattern for most of the songs, but if you're having trouble, if you look up the songs, most of the sites have the chords posted right above the word they need to be sung with, so it gives you the strumming pattern, and all you have to do is sing and play along! Hope this helps!
Doesn't really matter if axis of awesome did this as well, this is still good :)

I like how there's no reference to Axis of Awesome, despite this clearly being a rip off of their song.
Fair enough, it's well done, but give the appropriate credit.

Hi, what are the four chords? thanks
landtouch 1 year ago
@landtouch this can be in any key, so I used I-V-vi-IV - in this case, C G Am F. but you can transpose it as you want!
