Nice, Not everyone would leave the slant 6 in. It is getting harder to find the intakes and headers for those motors. Naturally asperated they can do 15 second passes in the quarter mile. Not to shabby. Nice work!!!!

Yes it been fully rebuilt. My cam is a comp cam 440 lift 260/216 duration, new valves and springs to match, .30 over block, .60 off the head, hockerheaders, flowmaster 40's with dumps, OffenHouser 4bbl with a 500 cfm carb and a 904 trans. Hope this helps you guys out.

I have a 70 duster with a set of wheels just like that. Mine are American racing torq thrust II, 17 X 7 fronts with 4" backspace and 17 X 8 rears with 4.5" bs. I changed the bolt pattern for 5 in 4.5", since mine had the early small one.

Sweet ride, especially keeping it something different w/ the Leaning Tower of Power. Too many guys would have pulled the V8 swap. Got a '78 F250 with the 300 that's gonna get this kind of treatment just to keep it different from all the V8 trucks out there. Great job on building something unique.

wow, a beautiful car indeed...i have a 1970 plymouth valiant duster, mines orange..it also has the 225 in it...i was gonna swap out for 5.9L 360..but this video has got me thinkin....my slant runs like a champ...and it only has 50,000 org on it....im the 2nd owner...my car was really a granny car....was really only drivin to church an the store...thee body has some damage on rear pass quater panel....ill try an put up a video...thanks for posting this..

Beautiful Duster!! I owned a '74 Duster with the Slant-6 as my first car (1985-1988). Mine was nowhere near as nice as yours. They used to make all kinds of performance goodies for the slant-six, and getting over 300hp out of them wasn't out of the realm of possibilities. I knew of one that terrorized the local 5.0 Mustangs & Camaros back in the day. It could pull the left wheel up on launch. From the sound of yours, I'd guess your in the 300hp range as well. Enjoyed it!!

If I'm not mistaken, I believe I saw your car either at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus, OH or at a Knoxville, TN mopar car show. I had to take some pictures of your car because it is so awesome! I love the leaning tower of power because its different. I am glad that there are people who choose to keep the 225cid as their powerplant. I had a 1972 duster with a slant 6 but a tie rod broke, disaster happened and the rest is history.

Well the hearders are hooker headers and Im running a 500cfm eddle. Motor is 30 over with a 440 lift cam 260/216 duration comp cam. The head is shaved 10 thousands, and the exhaust is flowmaster 40's. Thanks guys.
