I just read a beautiful songfic of this, and it was about a best friend of a woman in an abusive relationship...personally, I am inclined to believe that even though life gets pretty shitty, you have to just take a deep breath and look toward the next day.You should never give up, because someone loves you. And ask for help if you ever need it.

My opinion: It´s about to keep breathing, no matter how messed up your life might be (abortion, alcoholism, leaving someone you´re supposed to stay with...)! There many situations in which you may be depressed and see no reason to keep going- but you should :)!

@Schorlett Maybe she slept with him, not because she loves him, but because she was emotional for whatever events happened in that winter, and was reaching out for a sense of security in any way she could. Then BAM! Gets knocked up and needs an abortion, because she won't raise the child with a man she doesn't love.

3:30 should be "but" in place of "cause"
