We need to pay atttention to what is happening -- and not happening -- in New Orleans' Ninth Ward, where an epic battle is going on between development money and power versus the land rights of poor families who have lived in the Lower Ninth for many decades. Common Ground is fighting for these rights on the ground in the Lower Ninth, and they need to be supported -- as Veterans For Peace has done.
