Yay UBW is gonna be released in 5 days from now when I post. I think they made this movie cause a lot of people were going after the developers cause they saw Shirou and Archer duel in the anime intro song scenes. Did u guys forgot?
No. Saber Alter and True Assassin are from the Heaven's Feel Route (Sakura.) This Movie (and the second half of the Manga) is based on the Unlimited Blade Works (UBW) Route, which focuses on Archer and Shirou. The Anime was based on the Fate Route, which focuses on Saber.

People generally don't like when DEEN produces an anime, because it tends to be pretty sub-standard. Mostly the animation (off model characters being frequent), but especially when they're doing an adaptation of a game or pre-existing manga, becuse they often leave out or alter what most consider to be excellent moments in the original media.
Because DEEN always cuts out/rushes most important, and memorable, oftenly amazing scenes which people love the most, and drags boring, hated scenes. I can't wait to see how breakfast scene will last 30 minutes in that movie.
I don't expect much, DEEN never impressed me with anything :T Neither did with other people.
Anime adaptations can never relate to the original 100% I thought that was common knowledge. :/ I personally don't see the hate in DEEN since the only time I've ever heard of Higurashi and even Fate/Stay Night was through the anime.

Like you guys said, if they don't end it with Shirou and Archer's battle, it's gonna suck. But if they take out the battle between Gil and Shirou, it won't be worth watching...The climax of UBW is defeating Gil at the end. Not a huge Fan of Sakura and HF (don't flame me, she eats my Gil for dinner) but the making of it will probably depend on UBW success. YES, F/ZERO is a MUST-MAKE!
Maybe they'll do something similar to kara no kyoukai and break it off into one or two movies. Or maybe they'll do what they did in the actual game, assume you played fate route and leave out some explenations.

the first anime by deen is great, i cannot understand why dont like you...i passed the fate route, and i see the same in anima and game...very similar.
Well, it costs money and time to make an (animated) movie so its been found that making about the length of three episodes + quality is the optimal/most efficient use of money (Artists, animators, voice actors, technical staff, etc all need to be paid/need time to make the movie)
Otherwise, I'm not sure about you but I get pretty strained sitting in one spot and staring blankly ahead for long periods of time.
I kinda want the Good ending in this movie cause i don't like sad endings as much. And with the good ending they can start something maybe fate/hollow.
1h 30mins only, im disappointed. The VN takes something between 10-15 hours to read, depending on the person. I get the feeling that it will be quite compressed but lets just hope it wont turn into the Tsukihime anime.
Although im not a big Sakura fan don't hate me for that sorry, I would love to see Dark Saber. So I really hope they do make an HF movie too. If not maybe Type-moon would consider Animating Fate/Zero maybe :)? I hear prequels are big nowadays Type-moon~ *wink wink*

Orginal series follow storyline of Fate route and UBW will follow UBW like name tells. Biggest difference is that Rin is main character instead of Shiro in UBW.

I didn't think the time transition between Shirou vs Archer to the Shirou vs Gilgamesh in the Visual Novel was that long.. so maybe they might be able to fit it in to cover UBW from beginning to end.
True, But honestly I'd probably still watch it. Considering how much I liked the anime and the visual novel, If the movie manages to at least stay on par with their quality, it shouldn't be all bad. Until then, I have the Sword Dancer novels. Yay Archer-Ko.
If this is done correctly then it will be epic. Though the story may be a bit rushed but if you take out the explanations then it might be possible to make a great movie.
Personally I didn't like the Saber/Shiro pairing because it seemed like Shiro was just admiring her all the time. Rin/shiro make a better couple and there relationship is more fun to watch.
Anyway I just hope that they add in Llya's and Berserker's small bit of back story and when it's dubbed give Lancer a Irish accent!
I just want them to animate the meeting between shirou, lancer and rin, where they agree to work together, but under that one awesomely hilarious condition.

Fate is my fav Route but I love the others too and UBW has a lot more Gilgamesh GAR moments than the other routes, not to mention he looks his hottest in it!

Well, it costs money and time to make an (animated) movie so its been found that making about the length of three episodes + quality is the optimal/most efficient use of money (Artists, animators, voice actors, technical staff, etc all need to be paid/need time to make the movie)
Otherwise, I'm not sure about you but I get pretty strained sitting in one spot and staring blankly ahead for long periods of time.

1h 30mins only, im disappointed. The VN takes something between 10-15 hours to read, depending on the person. I get the feeling that it will be quite compressed but lets just hope it wont turn into the Tsukihime anime.

That one scene which Shirou fight Archer in UBW doesn't happen in VN. Well,at least we got one good thing to look forward to in it.

Although im not a big Sakura fan don't hate me for that sorry, I would love to see Dark Saber. So I really hope they do make an HF movie too. If not maybe Type-moon would consider Animating Fate/Zero maybe :)? I hear prequels are big nowadays Type-moon~ *wink wink*

Man this is going to be such an awesome movie mostly because rin will be the main character but also that it has a much better ending the the Fate route or anime ending.
It'll also have way better graphics which is a big improvement overall and it may actually start a new season for this anime maybe heavens feel route?
But i hate that one.
I hope UBW ending will be the one where everyone is united and happy...

Orginal series follow storyline of Fate route and UBW will follow UBW like name tells. Biggest difference is that Rin is main character instead of Shiro in UBW.

Not necessarily, Yes the grail was destroyed in the fifth war but you have to remember that it was also destroyed in the fourth war as well. There isn't any reason why it could manifest it's self again, like how Kotomine was trying to summon it. I will agree that there really shouldn't be another season of fate but, if they do make one, it would probably follow Ataraxia,

I didn't think the time transition between Shirou vs Archer to the Shirou vs Gilgamesh in the Visual Novel was that long.. so maybe they might be able to fit it in to cover UBW from beginning to end.

True, But honestly I'd probably still watch it. Considering how much I liked the anime and the visual novel, If the movie manages to at least stay on par with their quality, it shouldn't be all bad. Until then, I have the Sword Dancer novels. Yay Archer-Ko.

If this is done correctly then it will be epic. Though the story may be a bit rushed but if you take out the explanations then it might be possible to make a great movie.
Personally I didn't like the Saber/Shiro pairing because it seemed like Shiro was just admiring her all the time. Rin/shiro make a better couple and there relationship is more fun to watch.
Anyway I just hope that they add in Llya's and Berserker's small bit of back story and when it's dubbed give Lancer a Irish accent!
