Of course, all the bots are not affected this is the user who is, I posted this a few years ago to show the way to overcome, but I guess there's a lot more stuff. In this video was probably a Japanese farmer who can not read the instructions for use of its program, I just owned him by stealing its aggro and he forgot to set its fain death spell

@BillyCauseyjr a bot is basicly a program that plays for you, it can farm leather ect, some bots can return to your bank and deposit all of your leather ect, other bots can be used for grinding fast experience(those are normally used for powerlevel services.)

Eventually if you get them to die enough, their gear breaks and they are pretty much naked with no gear or weapon, I used to mess with bots when I played Lineage II, that game was infested with them, I would train huge groups of mobs on a bot, cause the bot to die, and before that patch, loot any gear they dropped upon death. Griefing botters was fun on that game. Reporting to GM was useless, for every bot you reported, another took their place.

HAHA! That's hilarious. Recently, I've been flagging myself and forcing bots to attack me, it's hilarious(tip-dueling a bot will force them to target you). Then I try to leave them at like 5% hp and feign death, but I'm not sure if it's working(I get honor). Killing them repeated while farming them waiting for a ticket reporting them to come through is so awesome, makes farming worth it :D

by pvp i meant, i use it when i am in world pvp and if they are annoying.

i do this alot when in pvp battle ;)

or when i'm piss off at a horde (i am a horde) because they do things that annoy me. (i.e mob stealing, spamming in general, etc).

so i just ice lance as many targets as possible and frost nova near the horde or alliance (that's flag), and blink and use invis.

but the other player has to be in combat tho.

most bots are not attempting to level..... as in this video the bot is farmin a rare whelp that goes for 1500g on the AH most bots just farm the rare drops to sell, if you look in the AH under misc and then type whelp youll prob see 3 or 4 of the same whelps under one player those are the bots

I got a bot to fall off onto an edge and had its body land on the side of the cliff once, it repeatibly failed at ressing because the ghost would fall past the corpse and land back farther down the cliff then have to walk all the way back around and try again.

I bot.. and to tell you the truth mmoglider is alot smarter if you have glider elite.. which willl pretty much log off relog in 10 mins or my favorite go to vendor waypoints and come back in about 20 mins

Not having an ability to wipe threat, I am locked to messing with the opposite faction's bots. There are always a few of them out in Burning Steppes. Just keep kiting them with a thrown till you get to an area with lava, swim through it and they'll follow you! Then (being a 70) you should still be able to make it back to safety without dying. They will keep rezzing in the lava - a beautiful sight! :D

You cannot really detect a bot in 5min, you have to farm with/near or sit down and look how they are farming, then you can notice they have a defined waypoint because they are farming always the same trash and always missing the sames, for example there is 2 trashs on their way A & B, they will always kill A but never kill B when B is clearly visible..

...and any human would have farmed it, only a bot is enough stupid to not see it, most bots has only one waypoint, a waypoint for exemple is a circle on the map and the bot will walk then on that circle and will never go outside, also they turn abnormally on themselves for example when they are detecting incoming trashs behind them and when I say abnormally this is turning really really really fastly and it stops as soon as they are in front of, never a mistake, never in the wrong direction,...

What I have appreciated is the GM ticket, talked with him he was very cool, he told me if I had looted my azur whelp but unfortunely not yet because there is chances they have destroyed the loot table, he also came to my map position and confirmed this was bots. When you are not sure this is a bot tell a GM but to recall about suspects activities, they are movements, waypoints, walking through walls, strange names like jdhkjsd qjjcklzn ...

...etc (but not always true) and strange reactions like said edel with the Piccolo for example or my video on aggro stealing, do your best to disturbe them and any human will start to chat or tell you wtf, a bot will go crazy and do unexpected things and I'm sure there is multiple other possibilities to kill them. The good end is that they left the area and not me and if the botter has a brain he know he has been found and reported and this is a matter of time for him to remain on the server.
