Haganah shares a lot with Krav Maga, and Mike Lee has a belt in KM. KM right now, however, means many different things to different people. Variations by region, style, instructor, etc. Haganah is still small enough -- with a limited number of blackbelts and approved instructors -- that you're getting some good consistency with the method, system, and quality of instruction. Haganah uses whatever works -- from any source. No apology. But integrates into a pragmatic system. Good stuff.
Haganah is a very intense and realistic martial art. I took it for two years and learned a ton, and was toughened up pretty good. I would highly recommend!
I was wanting to get into self defense and not deal with a martial art school and their belt system, so i ran into the Hagana thing and looked more into it. Now that i saw your comment, i think i might join =D
actually, believe it or not i read that he's vietnamese. he was adopted by belgian parents before they moved to israel or something like that. its on his website i think.
I fight haganah but also fight Krav Maga... Haganah is a great type of fighting I recomend it an once you master this try to take Krav Maga another form of israeli fighting
i do haganah twice a week and its a wicked rush. i know how to do some of that stuff, though most of it is just a mystery. he's so smooth in his movements. i dont wanna fuck with him
She was HORNY at the end.

I think some commenters and even the news anchor are getting Haganah confused with Krav Maga

Nope. Mike was my instructor once (no lie! hoping to go back to classes soon). It's called Haganah. "The Defense" in Hebrew.

Hey guys, do you know what does Kanarek means in Czech language? It's 'a little canary'. Some of his ancestors must have been of Czech origin.
Sorry of OT - he's really awsome teacher.
