  • You know for once a smith is just a tad more than the comperable taurus, but they ruin it by making it a 6 shot over the 5 shot judge. Who cares about 45acp if you already have the choice between a 45 bullet and shot with the judge. The taurus is much more concea

  • @andrewziegler206 They are both great guns and a fantastic choice for concealment. Yes your shot count is not as high and they may take a few more seconds to reload, but you're carrying a hand cannon!!! I love them both and really enjoy shooting them! Thanks for the comment!

  • How much is the S&W Governor? Is there a moon clip for a 6 shot?

    Thanks:)

    BOP

  • @BirdOfParadise777 I have moon clips for .45acp to use in this firearm. The ones I have will not work in a Judge, due to the difference in capacity, 5 vs 6. I bought mine from eBay. Thanks for the comment and all the best! I hope the reply on the other comments are helpful!

  • As far as the revolvers go I've been looking at the S&W gov. myself (I'm an S&W fanboy so that stands to reason)

  • @Pfletch83 I heard that! I am a Smith fan as well!

  • How about the Gov. vs The Judge vs The Mossberg 50455?

  • @Pfletch83 I haven't shot the Mossberg, but I am comparing the popular .410 pistols! I will definitely look at that shotgun! Thanks for the suggestion! Happy New Year!

  • @efd5803 not a problem

Happy New Year and keep posting vids.

  • I hope for much success for both just to quiet the critics and make ammo more available.

  • the Public Defender is a compact version of the Judge its not exactly a even compairison and taurus line has a life time warrenty on all their revovers. All you need to fire 45 acp in a judge is a 5 shot moon clip and lets not forget the Raging Judge that can fire 410 magnum and 454 cassule allong with 45 colt

  • @crosshairjunky I'm not hating on the Judge. This was the only Judge we had in the store at the time. I just wanted to do a side by side comparison on the two. I figured it would be something people would want to see. I think they are both great guns and very innovative! Only thing that could be better is to have a revolver like Hellboy has...Smith carries a lifetime warranty too and they have great customer service, but so does Taurus! Thanks for the comment. All the best!

  • Nice video. I just got a Governor and plan on everyday carrying it and home defense. Wondering if I should have gone with the smaller polymer judge? What do you think ?

  • @jawbonedoc NOPE!!! Chuck Testa! You made the right decision! People can hate on Smith and Wesson all they want, but what they did with the Governor was to perfect the Judge! The Scandium frame is light and the grip feels great! I carry mine in a coye57 holster, look him up on eBay, I also have another video with that holster. I had someone complain because the trigger is exposed, but it's a 13 pounder. I love mine and carry it regularly! All the best and thanks for the comment!

  • Had the judge PD polymer, but traded it in on Governor. My preference is the Governor. It is more accurate, lighter trigger pull and grip feels better when shooting. Also, like the fact that the Governor has a night sight and moon clips for .45 acp (very manageble round with one hand). Both are excellent home defense guns, but the Governor is better in my opinion.

  • @up2rupp4uk I completely agree with everything you said above. I do like the fiber optic on the public defender, but I do prefer the Night Sights. Plus, you get one more shot of awesomeness! The ability to shoot the 45acp and gap is a HUGE plus. eBay has 10 moon clips and a moon clip tool for around 15 bucks. Thanks for the comment and I look forward to checking your vids on the governor!!
