OMG! I had this doll in the nineties thanks to a hand-me down from an older family friend. I never knew what her real name was until I saw this video! I always called mine Jessica lol
Hmm. I think I vaugely remember this from when I was 4. I don't think I had one though. Not at 4. I was still hangin' with my cabbage patch doll (that I still have.)
The one thing I will always remember about getting this doll for my 5th birthday is thinking that "batteries not included" meant batteries not required. And my parents saying "well we put some in anyway, just in case". LoL
Ah memories! I loved mine so much and then I decided to experiment on her face with a blue ball point pen...I drew tattoos and "makeup"...My kid self was an asshole. Sorry PJ Sparkles, I'm so sorry!
Rofl, me and a friend took one of these apart to see how it worked. By the time we were done she looked like a fucking terminator about to die, with lights just flashing all over a wrecked plastic body.
I got this doll when I was 4 and still have it in my room (I'm 24) on the shelf... One of the few toys I couldn't bare to get rid of. This song seriously haunts my dreams... and I remembered all the words, even before watching this now HAHAHA... Weird, the things that stay in your head from childhood....
PS- The one I have now STILL lights up!!! Very faintly, but I haven't changed the batteries since I was about 5 so that's impressive. I bet if I put in new batteries it would light up like new!
@speeeee35 totally go for cahnging the doll's batteries :D i bet she would light up like new, and if you haven't changed the dolls batteries since you were young, i'm very impressed ^_^
My older sister had this, I have it now in my closet. I didn't think the doll was an 80's toy nor did I know she had her own series. A very cool find.
I had her when I was a little girl!!!

This doll proved to me that Santa wasn't real. But damn did we have the best toys back in the 80's. I feel sorry for my kids.
