@covGuk as far as I know they do, the thing on the side is the hand brake ... after all this is rallying ;)

@fatkasuvayu they have both, the gear liver and mand break on the left. padles are gone now. only the handbreak is more towards the center of the car and a littlebit lower than the gearliver

I knew that they will be sometimes a little slower and sometimes a little faster than the old WRC.

One could say that the Old WRCs acceleratet with torque, the new ones with Horsepower. You have to shift more, but Horsepower a high RPM is as good as torque at low rpm. (f1 for example, they have only around 350NM, but a lot of HPs at high rpm)

A test in Richard Burns Rally showed me that my theory was right. I have to shift more, but acceleration an topspeed are realy close

@Solberg2010 actually the cars develop the same 300 BHP that the bigger ones did. The difference is more on handling, they handle better in the corners, but are more nervous on corners

@MrDavid2222 That is not a desition taken by the teams, that is FIA and the guys on charge or recording everything. I've worked as a scrutineer in Rally Mexico since 2005, and that is how FIA desides an homologates them. so they aren't in absolute way of the drivers on any ocation
