i dont think many people know this but the close ratio gearing in the 300c's allow for quick accelleration. Where they suffer is above 220/kmhr but who drives that fast on the street? Alot of the Jap Imports dont have close ratio gearing and thats why Jap Import drivers always have a shocked look on their face when they see my 2tonne silver beast throwing dust into their Air Intake. Its not just about power to weight. gearing plays a part also.

im not tryin to hate on the 300c man, i used to have a pearl white one. 06. Its quick for its size. But now my buddy has one and i have a g35S sedan. I destroyed him from 0-60. it was horrible maybe he cant drive but his car isnt stick so just gotta floor it on 3rd or something..

I got you, but this is an 03 g35 with the vq35 engine not the vq37. The one you have has a bigger engine and more hp.

unfortunately, dubballin is right, he has a g35 s as his is a 07-08 model, the 3.7L wasn't standard till this year. An '05-'06 g35with manual would have a chance to beat the 300c.

no, a 300c weighs up to 4300lbs fully loaded with AWD. a base 300c with rwd is about 3900-4000lbs and will do at least 14.490sec in the quarter (@ approx 97mph). i have a time slip to prove that

Well a 375hp 300c 5.7L Hemi can do 13.9-13.6 and at the strip if yah faster than 13.9 you NEED a Helmet And dont say no it cant go that Fast I should know cuz of Personal Exprience

My average times for that day was 8.8 - 8.9 on the 1/8 mile. The g35 ran 9.0- 9.1 all day. Mods for g35- intake/ exhaust/plenum spacer...300c mods intake and tune.

I hear ya. i feel the same way. The torque is great in the 300C isnt it. I still love driving it. I know its not a race car or even a muscle car but for the money it does run very well and i like the looks. i have a sedan 07 G35 and i just raced a 300C two days ago he won twice and i did once but the whole time we were door to door yes he was infron of me but not like this stupid driver and after 5sec i start catchin up with him and passing him easily and ofc u know that wiegth is good for car traction G is light so i need to burnout like crazy before i can get decent traction, Peace

is the 07 g35 the redisigned model? if so then yea you would be neck and neck but if its an 05 you would lose by a few car lengths to the 300c

i have an 05 300C...for some reason they are quicker than the 06-08 and i've raced 3 or 4 g35s 1st gen. beat them all by about a car length except one guy who sucked at driving and i smoked him. my car's 0-60 is 5.3...the 06 and up 300Cs except for 09 is somewhere in between 5.5 to 6 for some odd reason

the stupid multidisplacement system slows down the car, by the time u gun it and all 8 cylinders get going the g walks u and is gone thats how it was for me, my new g's 0-60 is 5.1. stock, now im running 4.8-5.0

the multidisplacement doesnt slow me down...it's supposed to fire up in 0.04 seconds so maybe yours was delayed for some reason...as soon as i put my foot down the car goes but i still wouldnt be able to take on your g...if you had first gen then it would be a good race
