  • Wow, i have always been afraid to try this on a plated pipe but I guess it doesnt turn it colors that bad. I have used this trick on black pipes before though

  • does it really work whit water in a freezer ?

  • does this leave the pipe discolord or does the plating fall off

  • just fil it whit water put it in a freezer

  • fill it up with water, cap both ends then stick it in a freezer. works better than your way using heat and is much safer

  • Smart but dumb.. the only reason i dont do this is because my mate had his eye taken out from the chamber exploding.. :/ but it does save 300-400 bucks.. but not worth the risk..

  • @mrphotographyperson always use face and eye protection when doing any kind of dangerous work.

  • @mrphotographyperson That is why you use low pressure and always wear eye protection. It doesn't take very much pressure at all to do this, once the pipe is red hot 10psi or less would push it out.

  • you want to start at the center of the dent and move outwards as it pushes out

  • does it ruin the nickel plating? Thanks for the great video!

  • OMG thanks :) i got alot of these on my use cr250 -__-

  • smart

  • Great work. There is a bit of an art to it.
