@wintershiver You could tell the counselor that you are afraid of your mom scolding you for being depressed. Worst case scenario is that it will get back to her anyways, but if you are already used to her scolding you, I don't see the point in worrying about it any more than you usually do.

This actually reminds me of what my adoptive parents did. They turned everything about respect on its end. No matter what I said it was one of the following: Stupid, negative, disrespectful, jerk, idiot, worthless, hopeless... but then I met my mother and she told me none of those things were true and now this song is telling me the same thing. My father abused my mother and threatened her to accept an open adoption when I was only 2 years old, then turned around and acted like she had lost her parental rights. He sent me off to live with his sister and her husband. I had to put up with 24 years of abuse from that side of the family, but now I'm officially set to move up to near where my mother's family lives. (Don't ask how I did it... I''d rather not remember) I'm 26 now and I'm sure things will get a lot better really soon. :)

The people who tease you actually have emotional issues themselves, and are blowing off painful steam on someone else. It's definitely hard to ignore, but it's good you keep your head up. I've had been abused by my parents, and get teased by my classmates because of my looks everyday. It droven me to the point of thinking about suicide. People have told me don't do suicide, because theres people that actually cares about me. I don't believe them at some points.
But it made me learn that don't think bad about yourself. Everybody's special. You just gotta believe in you.

The people who tease you actually have emotional issues themselves, and are blowing off painful steam on someone else. It's definitely hard to ignore, but it's good you keep your head up. This song has gotten me through one of the hardest days of my life. I lost in fantasy football and my undefeated season is over. On top of that the patriots lost to giants again giving me de ja vu to the superbowl and another perfect season ending. Had i not heard this song i really dont know wat would have happened
