  • Butalbital with aspirin and caffeine was extremely good for my migraine headaches. Some time ago, I only thought that women get migraine headaches but I was wrong. Sansert is no longer available in the US as far as I know and Imitrex gave me heart problems. This one worked well without interfering in my daily activities.

  • It works well most of the time, but can give you a little buzz-so be careful at work or driving, etc.

  • How long will this stay in your system? My wife gave me one pill of her 40mg right before I went to sleep because I had a fever of 101.4. About 15 hours later I took a urine test and I'm wondering if I could still pass it.

  • You MIGHT by OK after a week but to be safe, probably two weeks.

  • Ok. They probably didn't even test for it. I'm finding out today the results. I think they just test for meth, cannabis, and pcp, etc. I'll post what results were.

  • Oh, and it was actually Cephadyn. That was the name of the drug I took. I did a little research on this branch of drug, and my wife said cephadyn didn't have codeine or caffeine, but only acetametaphine and the narcotic butalbital(I think)...

  • Dude, if you want to pass a urine test and you know you have drugs in your system (Prescription drugs are only usually picked up by specialized tests, btw), what you need to do is Dilute your urine.

Drink bottles and bottles of water before the test and make sure you have to piss ALOT. It will be diluted enough that the urine will be unusable.

They will then re-schedule the test for a couple days later, by which time you should be clean. If not, simply repeat.

  • Butalbital is standard on a drug test. Drink all you want and piss all you want, you'll still fail it.

  • I thought regular drug tests only detected illicit drugs, like Heroin, Cocaine or Marijuana, and that Pharmaceuticals were only on specialized tests. It would be a bother if people's prescriptions were triggering drug tests, wouldn't it?

Anyway, point is the urine has to be USABLE in the test. If the urine is practically water, it's simply unusable, and they'll have to do another test.

  • They test for several medications/drugs. If you have a prescription, you are required to reveal the medicaation you are taking. If you didn't reveal it, and it shows up, you fail.

Urine is urine whether it's watered down or not, it's usable no matter how much water, pickle juice, or baking soda you take.

  • They CANNOT detect anything if the urine to drug ratio is too dilute. It's not one of those pickle juice/baking soda bullshit myths, it's a fact. They can't detect it if there concentration is too low. They'll reschedule you and you will go on to take another test, usually on a separate date.

And there is no single test that can detect EVERY drug. There's different tests for different types of drugs.

  • We'll just agree to disagree, that's alright. Good discussing it with you though. Take care

  • What do you mean agree to disagree?

Agreeing and disagreeing is for opinions. There are no opinions here. It's either right or wrong.

If you know what you're talking about better than I do, show me so. Show me so.

  • @BrianTotse no they test for benzodiazipines on almost every test so be careful while taking xanax, klonopin, tranxene, etc and if you take it for a couple of weeks straight its in your system for a while sometimes up to 30 days, and some tests even test for barbituates but they dont perscribe them much anymore except for phenobarbital and butabital(fiorcet and Fiornal)

  • totally owned. :)
