I was poor growing up. A mother and father that felt I was burden. They were right since I was not planned on. I never had a birthday. I was never hugged. I never remember either parent saying, "I love you." I never recieved a letter and card from them until I sent them mother and fathers days presents. Then it was just to ask for money even though they had plenty. All I ever wanted was to be loved! Going to bed hungry and then to school hungry id tough! Some new shoes, s nice clothes some food
I always say I am happy being poor as long as my bills are paid, as long as I know I don't owe anyone anything i am happy not being able to go out and buy things or do things. I would rather be poor and have knowledge and wisdom and a caring heart than being rich, shallow and coincided with no real education.

i am mad right now because i really wanna go to college in Japan and my dad cant help pay me 25,000 dollars a year of tuition! I HATE BEING POOR! i am going to get a degree and become a teacher! and i dont want my future family to be poor and i want my son to go to whatever school he likes! I WANT MONEY LOTS OF IT! being poor sucks so bad! and i hate it!
When I was young I didn't know I didn't want money. When I was middle aged I wanted relationships but my family wanted money. Now that I'm old I just want companionship and get by without money.
When we're on our death bed, its not a bank account we want to hug.
@woolwable I have a lot of money. I haven't "worked" for another person or company or group since 2003. I donate money to people who really need it. I also donate my time. I have dug wells in Africa for small villages. I have donated my expertize in environmental services to Brazil, Mexico, Peru and oceanographic clean-up efforts. What I was saying in my post is that many people are losing their souls. Our world "leaders" are incredibly greedy diabolical criminals and that is "trickling down".

Its one thing to philosophy about it knowing that theres a decent home to come back to. Its another thing to live it 365 days a year seeing no end to it.
Try living in a violent and abusive home environment.
There are alot of people in the world who cant even get unpolluted clean drinking water (let alone even the basics of having WATER) Or even enough to eat.
There are alot of people who die from exposure to harsh environments. Try living in cold and wet environment or the desert heat. Try struggling to find food or getting medical care. Thats the reality some poor people live in.
I'm sure theres alot of POOR people who would trade their position with your position in a second.

I hate being poor! My family NEVER goes on Vacation! We can barely pay for rent! And My mom hasn't gaven me my allowance in 3 weeks!
