Uh, I guess you didn't notice... Rene Fleming WAS there. And Yo Yo Ma was at the Inauguration. And while I agree that some of the talent at the show was less than stellar (Shakira, for example), it's hard to argue that U2, Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, and Herbie Hancock don't belong among the greats.
