  • ahah this is an ugly pond

but its cute that you two did it together!

  • Did Charlie do all the work? :b

  • epic

  • u did great job :)

  • you've gotta show how it looks fully completed

  • Nalts... enjoy them while they're young. Great vid!

  • I love it! Yeah Charlie for holding him to it! SmileyD

  • i built a pit like that at the beach. hard work, but fun.

  • Nice!!

  • I wish my dad was this fun :(

Spending the day at the dollar store, making fun of products written in engrish gets really old, really fast.

  • wow nice

  • I want a pond!! Charlie is a hard worker! Great job you both did!

  • that is soo coool!! and I'm glad you didn't push charlie in! i bet you thought of that for a second. or was that me?? ;)

  • I made on about 2-3 years ago and me my dad and bro all felll in!

  • It needs more water

  • @luke1000123 We added more. Then drained it because it was too sandy and are refilling it now.

  • Wow, that's alot of work for one day. Good job, I know Freddy probably is going to love it.

  • @themaxxray You'd think. As a lab he should be into water. But he isn't yet.

  • Nalts, you should have your agent do that....lol

  • Thanks for being a good dad.

  • Looks like hard work! Didn't you have back surgery about a year ago?

  • Charlie has the best bathtub ever!

  • Uncle Nalts please adopt me i want you to be my dad. You are the best dad in the world.

  • are u gonna put fish in it ?

  • looks Awesome!

    KOYT!

  • Cute pond. :-) It makes me wish I had a big enough yard for one.

  • aw thats cute i hope you put some fish in there or are you afraid that wildlife might eat it?

  • Wow! It took my friend's parents about a year to completely finish their pond, but they also have a little waterfall with it too haha.

  • wow that looks pretty good!

  • I would have just used the pool

  • dude thats not a pond lmao thats a big puddle

  • You should get fish for it! I bet Charlie would love that!

  • wow a new pool

  • lol pond? i think it's more like a dirt pool.

  • Nice pond, can`t wait to see the finished product. Gold fish ?

  • I like the song in this video. So catchy :D

  • thats pretty good for 1 day!

  • Nalts, are you sure you wanted me to see you those 20 piranha? I think some other type of fish may be better. Let me know.

  • You need to remember to put something over your pond to scare away the birds or else they'll eat all your fish.

  • What a nice memory for Charlie. I hope he names a fish after you! :) cool vyd.

  • Freddys going to love that. My dogs in our pond all the time. Nice job Nalts!

  • thumbs up for the nalts' labor dirt pile!

  • I wish i had a pond nalts

  • How do you clean that water out, so it's clear?

  • it seems like he favors charlie over his other kids lol

  • @lakaiguy17 I think that Charlie is the only one that is willing to appear in his videos on a regular basis. The others are at that age where they probably don't want to be in the videos so much anymore.

  • @lakaiguy17 charlie's just the one who wants to be on camera. he said his other kids have grown a bit camera shy in an earlier vid. : )

  • I dont know how bad they are in your area, but watch for snakes!

  • A koi pond? Cool, Kev and Charlie!

Hope the water looses the murkiness!

    - Jason

  • My dad planned to change my fish pond into a garden. I dunno when.

  • Will this make giving the childrenofnalts baths a bit easier, .

    .

    .

At least until the first hard freeze?

  • cool

  • haha that looked super fun

  • that's really cool - i wish my dad had done a project like this with me when i was a young kid

  • Cool!! That turned out awesome!

  • I wish my dad would build me a pond. ;(

  • Nice pond, dude.

  • pause at 1:21 for sweaty Nalts

  • That looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't think they are allowed in the neighbor hood. That and gardens, above ground pools and fences over 4 feet tall or not made of the approved material. What a shitty neighborhood . . .

  • You have an amazing family! And it looks like you got a daddy's boy on your hands which is awesome! My kids are totally momma's boy and girl and it's the best feeling in the world just having them around! Even if ya are doin hard labor!

  • : )

  • so much better than shaytards

  • That's a murky old pond eh?

  • Nice! :D

  • Nalts - I have a question. What is that strange noise in the background of your videos that I've been hearing lately? I heard it on the car robberies video too. Maybe bugs of some sort?

  • @Chrisandjen14 there called locust or cicada they are bugs... and they all get together and make that sound

  • @dula77 Interesting! I had no idea. They must not be in California. Thanks for the reply!

Ok I just looked them up and they're terrifying. I don't think I would ever leave my house if we had "swarms" of those. Gave me the chills just looking at them.

  • @Chrisandjen14 we have tons of them in texas but theye dont do anything but make noises :) he found one in the video digging

  • no i don't think I will be building one. it would take up my entire backyard. though if my yard were as big as yours I would love to

  • Looking good, I wanna see it when the fish are in there! =D

  • ok I take back my last comment about the expert...I am impressed and Charlie looks so happy but I did see your video about the gum tree so that is why I said you better call the experts for this job...lmao

  • dude ypu are my hero more and more....you rock man...

  • COOL! Can you show it to us when you are 100% done? =)

And I live in an apartment, don't think the manager will be too happy with me building a pond on my balcony! =p

    Xoxo,

    Amanda ;-D

  • are you going to out fish in it now?

  • i love time lapses!

  • Pretty good for one day!

  • That's awesome!! You are a very nice dad.:)

I need one of those for my pet snapping turtle!!!

  • Wow, the birds & thirsty animals are going to love that --set up a cam at night & catch the antics of the animals who come visiting! :)

  • That is freaking awesome...

  • Not bad. Not bad at all. It's so not bad that it's actually good.

  • Ponds are nice, but they're a lot of work if you plan on putting fish in them. Your pond isn't too deep, so if you have a pesky raccoon or cat that visits it will be a problem. I built a fish pond last summer that's about 9ft x 6ft x 2.5ft. It's a lot of work lol. Read up on it before you put in fish.

  • Haha I was going to do that with my dad and put fishies in it! But then we realized ponds and Jack Russell's do not go well together XD

  • this is next summer. woah... he's right.

  • I like it.

  • when i grow up, i wanna be just like nalts

  • build a hot tub next.

  • Very impressive for one day's work, Nalts.

Once it's finished, will you be putting some fish in there or something?

Can't wait to see the finished product. :)

  • i already built one lol

  • Nice job Nalts!

  • I wish my dad kept promises he made years ago... :(

  • thats awesome i want to make one!!! my neighbor has one and the cats or raccoons ate the fish and turtles! or she just didnt feed them and they died haha

  • Hair's looking good Kevin!

How long til it starts falling out again? :P

  • Did you build this, this past weekend in that extreme heat? You are a much better man than I am UN!

  • i wanna make one! but yeah right! like my dad would go forr that!

  • you need cleaner water if you want some fish in there :)

  • my uncle ( and neighbor ) makes ponds and fountains all the time!! he never sits still and this keeps him busy!! are you gunna let us see it when it's finished? it's looking good!

  • Did someone shit in it? looks kinda brown

  • damn! good job!

Loved how Charlie called you out in the beginning!

  • 20th comment !!!! and congratz on building it !!!

  • i tried to do this a few years ago... i failed :[

  • wow

    Muddy lake

  • get a pond shell at like lowes or the home dept. then get some rocks for a local rock place (flat rocks and some round rocks). Then dig the hole for the pond shell then fill it with water. Then get a pond filter with a pump you can make a waterfall or fountain then let the pound run for a few days then add fish. Also add plant. (if there is dirt in the pond that is ok it is a more natural look. I made a pond and it is awesome.

  • me and my dad build a massive pond that was the width of our garden (about 10 feet) and it was about 6-7 foot deep haha it took 1 week and i will remember it forever it was amazing and so much fun !! charlie will remember this too its great to see other people do what me and my dad did

  • you are such a nice dad..;)

(thinking of adopting again..lol..you want a 31 years old child?)

but well, if you build a pond like this in my parents garden it will be ok too..;)

  • cool.......

  • I hope you have good fencing, raccoons just love fish.

  • pretty cool, can't wait to see the finished pond

  • Great job Nalts...it hard work but enjoyable yeah? We put a pond in similar size last year and throughly enjoyed doing it! Enjoy! :)

  • Not too bad nalty boy :)

  • I had a fish pond in my backyard when I was younger and when my mom and I would clean it they fish would come and kiss our fingers like they were thanking us for cleaning it. It was sad though because one day we woke up to a mean old cat eating our fish. :'(

  • YOUR THE BEST DAD NALTS!

IF YOU READ THIS ITS ME SEAN FROM VIDCON!!

LOTS OF LOVE FROM CANADA BUDDY

  • LOL, sorry Nalts, but I called you eating it when you stepped into the pond.

  • See, digging your own grave can be fun aye!
