That's not my problem. I was playin a game then had to leave for a few minutes so I closed it and put it in sleep mode. I came back and opened my DS but it stayed in sleep mode. I shut it off and turned it back on. The green light turned on, and it will charge, but the screens, backlight, or anything else won't turn on, not even a sound from the speakers! PLEASE HELP ME, I dont wanna have to get a new one OR send it in to be fixed.
@Pikatwig idk what to do because im having problems with my ds as well it wont turn on so i put it in the charger a orange light blinks them turns off and i just got i for christmas an dhavent used it much its ben in its case for a lil while what do i do
if it does that it usually means that the battery got pushed out of place. just unscrew the back, remove the battery, blow some air to remove the dust in that area, but the battery back in, and it should turn back on.
@senichi18 probably a dodgy screen, if the bottom screen flashes then its more than likely the ribbon to the top screen has had it. Easy enough repair.

To make it turn on press X,Y,B,A,L,R up, down, left and right at the same time after pulling the ON button but it only works on GBA games!
