can someone help me? Ive got exactly the same KLOM tubular pick but i can not unlock my disc brake lock from my bike....the 7 pins dont seem to move at all and the alarm on my disc brake lock is killing me.....i need advice badly on how to unlock my disc brake lock....much appreciated guys!

i have one of those in the 6 pin version and it works quite well, but i did exactly what you did and removed the button and springs.

it does work much better without them.

oh, yeah, i almost forgot ...

Heard nothing good about DealExtreme........i use uklockpickers and done me proud. Emailed to say order received then another email sent to say it had been dispatched. And no problems with my picks when they got here.....even made a wood box to protect them in the post. 10/10 for the service.

Yes you could order from deal xtream for £20 but you run the risk of it never arriving or if it does it will probably be faulty!!! I know many people who have order this pick from here and they have had nothing but problems!!!

Your Welcome. I didn't mean to infringe on the excellent job you did on this post. A lot of people I deal with have had this same problem with this pick. One other thing to watch out for is to make sure and tighten up the allen set screws on this unit before using. The button on the handle is spring loaded and if the screw becomes loose the spring will pop out. You would'nt believe what a bitch that is to put back in. If you can find it. Good Day Mate.

Oh Yes, I know all about the spring!! First thing I did when I got this pick was press the button, and you can guess what happend!!! LOL. managed to find all the bits and put it back together, I do not use the spring loaded handle anymore, works better without it anyway.

The biggest mistake is to over tighten the collar on the reset. The collar's main purpose is to hold the pins in place for a key copy. Remember now, use a detecate touch,do not force it. If you still can't get it, then simply remove the collar all together and replace it with rubber band untill you get the hang of it. You'll GET IT!

It's real easy to use, just stick it in and give it a push, twist and wiggle. no skill needed to use this tool  :0)
