I just LOVED this video. It was going to be my new relaxation video but the rock music I found a bit annoying. I'm a train commuter so I could ride this train virtually. Loved the flamenco music and the ocean noise!
Actually, it goes all the way up to Seattle. The Reason it doesn't detour into SF is due to the fact that SF juts out and makes an isthmus seperate from the rest of California. If the wanted to build a route into SF, then the route would have to make a U-turn and backtrack out, which is a waste of money. Fortunately, around the San Jose area, Amtrak shares stations with Caltrain. With Caltrain and/or BART, you should be able to get to SF just fine :)
They should build a faster California train between San Francisco 4th and King to Los Angeles. It will run down the peninsula. Call it the "Golden State".
very good video, sarber. i'm liking your eye for detail, and obvious genius. the people who gave you only three stars are clearly insane and maybe vote George Bush. how crazy!please, post more videos and make people happy. i've been on that train to santa barbara, and flown more times than i care to mention from SLO to LA and 'Frisco' on those noisy little Saab340s. how rude. they make the ears bleed, no? keep persisting with your genius!
